I dropped in while I was in town for my doctor appointment. I had the “Streetcar Special”, which is 1/2 Po’ boy with either a cup of red beans or gumbo. I had the Surf and Turf po’ boy and red beans, they were both delicious. All the ingredients seemed fresh especially the bread.

My husband and I came from out of town for our second anniversary. When looking up what we wanted to do we knew we wanted to come here. We’ve never had Cajun food before and wow it did not disappoint! The ambiance was so cozy and the service was super quick. Ordering off of the menu on the wall was a little intimidating and felt a little rushed, but once you’re regular it would be fine. The food was amazing and we’ll be back!

Dining at The Factory is always an enjoyable experience and The White Alligator was nice. Table service is average as you order at the counter and take a number with you. We did have the weight staff bring us drink refills.
The food was delicious in the two of us enjoyed it very much

I had the Gumbo with the pear martini and my husband had the muffuletta, we are both very happy with our food. I dont like spicy food and the gumbo had a kick to it and i didnt mind. The martini was smooth, a little sweet. The muffuletta was fresh, the bread is the hero of the story for sure.

Writing this review a little late. May 17th, was my first time eating at The White Alligator. We were visiting friends in Franklin and were meeting them at The Factory.

I am always down for some Cajun food and this immediately stuck out to me as the option I was going to stop for.

The selection were really plentiful. I decided to go with the Shrimp Po’ Boy because I love a good Po Boy. My wife had the shrimp wedge salad with bacon.

The food was very good. The bread on the Po Boy was nice and crusty. My wife was impressed with the salad. I also ordered a side of hushpuppies. I have not had good ones in ages. These were right out of the fryer and were golden and delicious.

Atmosphere for being inside a mall was better than expected. Once seated you do not feel like you are in a mall.

First impressions are important and the food and service were great. I would certainly go there again and recommend it to anyone that stops at The Factory.

Although the menu is limited, the Cajun-inspired food is very good. Slightly pricey, but worth it. There’s no table service; you stand on line to order and pay, and if you’ve ordered to eat there, they’ll bring it to your table. The bar is separate, and honestly, if you want a beer, it won’t be cheap, nor will it be cold. So I’d recommend a soft drink if you’re eating there. But wel go back if we’re in Franklin.

It’s Cajun food and therefore heavy but delicious. I’m such a hushpuppy snob and theirs are amazing. I rarely have them so that in itself made the visit worth it! The blackened shrimp wedge salad was fabulous. Get the dressing on the side if you don’t like a lot. Fabulous cocktails!

This is great food. A friend and I had the Shrimp Wedge Salad. Very tasty salad and beautifully presented on the plate. The shrimps were well seasoned, the salad dressing was homemade and delicious. Excellent compliment of flavors. I highly recommend.

We were in just a few days ago for afternoon happy hour. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very helpful to us. We had the red beans & rice, jambalaya and gumbo trio. Also had fried oysters. We wrapped up with beignets. Everything was great….but the jambalaya was excellent. We were very impressed. If we lived in Franklin, this would be a go-to for us.

One of my favorite restaurants in town! The casual atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delicious, and the staff is always super friendly. The fried shrimp Po Boy has won me over in a heartbeat and I crave it weekly. The gumbo and jambalaya are fantastic too, and the bar never fails to make a delicious drink. Highly recommend!
