Great Little location on the Manatee Pocket for a good sandwich, salad, or breakfast. We’ve seen this place grow up in the last 30 years from a little shack to a community eatery. We’ve seen this enjoy this spot for a weekend lunch, eith our dogs outside porch. My husband enjoyed two hot dogs ( kraut and chili dog, I had a grilled chicken and I sandwich. A random person told me about this restaurant that has the best Philly cheesesteaks. We decided to try it when my parents were in town and it is fantastic. The steak Philly with everything on it was delicious, my chicken Philly was perfect for me and the Patty Melt was great too.

We came for breakfast. Service was friendly, fast, and like I said, made to order … in our family that means crispy, almost burned bacon and extra cheese on my eggs.
It wasn’t the cleanest place, with a fly buzzing around, but that shouldnt deter you. It was like your mother in law’s kitchen on a hot summer day.

Cant mess with the chicken philly and fries here. Ive been coming back for years for this meal, and would highly recommend it to anyone. Do yourself a favor and go check em out!

I had a cheese burger somewhere else yesterday and it was so incredibly delicious, well cooked, well built, excellent balance! Seriously a great burger. But it wasn’t at the Whistle Stop in Stuart (Port Salerno). The great burger was at a waterside grill (not in Stuart) and with great fries was $11.50. It was so good, it caused me to remember my disappointment of the Whistle Stop burger a couple weeks ago. Staff is nice, but really, the burger was not created with care. I got it with bacon which was poorly placed just on one side of the burger. So, lots of bacon over here, and no bacon over there. Also, there was no lettuce or tomato. Just the bacon and cheese and I got it to go, so surprise. No lettuce tomato etc. was I supposed to ask for that? My bad if so. You want a great burger? Gotta make it with care. I hope this review will push you to do better.
