We arrived for lunch and we’re seated immediately and our drink orders taken. The mt dew was near the end of its life so we sent it back. I ordered a raspberry tea instead which was also gross. I ordered the spicy garlic boneless wings and the BBQ wings (boneless) and a pulled pork sandwich my friend ordered the turkey club with fries and spicy garlic boneless wings. The boneless wings themselves are weird and unlike anything texture wise I’ve seen before. Also, the wings did not taste like spicy garlic at all they looked and tasted like they were just covered in mild sauce. We had asked for mayo and BBQ sauce for our sandwiches which the waitress forgot about to the point we had sat there for at least 10 minutes before I walked up and asked and she said sorry she forgot. The pulled pork sandwich was fine but nothing to write home about. My friend was super disappointed in her turkey club. The french fries were the only things that were decent. Just overall the wait for everything and the service wasn’t great and then to top it off she completely messed up our bills and how our cards were ran…..just would never return or recommend.

This place is my families favorite place to eat! We have been going there since before it was bought and renamed. The food here is a cut above most places you will find in the area and I recommend you to drive to get here. Owners are always about customer experience and making sure everyone is happy about their experience. The service here is great (Syd is a superstar). Be calm and patient if they are busy and respect that good food and service is not a fast food operation here. Always great specials and my middle son and I especially love their “steak night”. Worth every dollar! These are not frozen semi truck steaks. These are fresh local steaks. Again, I can not thank this establishment, chefs, servers and their owners enough. Always a great time at The Vault! I can go on an on about this place and their food. Just show up and find out for yourself!

Food is sub par to say the least. Since this place reopened under a new name and ownership the food quality has gone downhill. Dry tough clumps of hand cut, poorly breaded and improperly deep fried “boneless wings” they are sacrificing quality over cost and it’s just disgusting. Just because family members run a business does not mean it’s for everyone.

Stopped in this cute historic town for some antique shopping. Decided to try out The Whiskey Vault Tavern. Good service and friendly staff. Food was under par in my opinion. I got the chicken quesadilla and the chicken was delicious, but the vegetables inside weren’t cooked and it had brown shredded lettuce. Threw off the whole thing. It should be called a taco, not a quesadilla. Beer battering is delicious! We had the mushrooms and pickles. Wonderful! The hubs had the mushroom and Swiss burger. Said it lacked flavor but was okay. Daughter had the boneless wings and said the sauce was wonderful but the chicken was dry. Onion rings were hand breaded and very good too! The atmosphere was cool, but we noticed so many cobwebs and dust that could easily be wiped up and cleaned. The three of us ate for $80. Bit pricy for what we got.
We love to support small businesses and enjoy visiting places we’ve never been. Too bad this one wasn’t one we’d go out of our way to visit again.

Ordered tonight for a Halloween dinner. Dozen wings, hot pepper cheeseburger with fries, 3 piece fish with fries and onion rings, and a fish sandwich… everything was prepared and packaged well and was totally delicious and filling. A very good place with only a year in business. Recommended to stop in and try it. Yum

How was this place not packed? Driving up from Southern Ohio, we saw the quaint exterior and stopped. So glad we did! Delicious food-I had the fish bites, my husband had a steak and egg sub… both were top notch. The Buckeyes were playing-TVs everywhere! Each booth even has a personal tv! Our favorite beers were $1 during the game-WHAT?!? Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely go out of our way to come back!

Had lunch there today, very disappointed from what they used to be. Kids meal cheeseburger was literally a burger cut in half .50 for 2 pickel slices, .50 for slice of American cheese, cold fry’s. One of us had a charcoal brick for a mushroom Swiss burger. 3.00 for a side of cold fry’s that was less than you get in a kids meal at McDonslds.
