Incredible! We had to wait for a while to be seated but we did have a large party of 6. The wait was well worth it. Not only were there tons of drinks to choose from, but the food selection was also impressive. The appetizers and the food were very good. Both came out pretty quickly. I had probably one of the best French dips of my life. The service was consistent and courteous. All in all, it was a perfect way to end a great day in the Charlottesville area.

This was 2nd time eating here. Loved our dinner the 1st time. My wife had the blackened catfish and it was huge and very good. I had the grass fed burger med/rare, however I was surprised how small the burger was. Wasn’t as juicy as I would like, but it was tasty. The fried chicken skins on the top were amazing. I would like a side of just that. Drinks are always good here.

GREAT restaurant. Not the cheapest option, but it’s legit. I especially like the drinks and the drink menu—solid. Great if you like to try whiskeys and bourbons. Food is also really good but maybe not quite as good as the drinks. 🙂 they have a decent sized patio area. Parking can be tough but there are spots around. Worth your time!

Great restaurant in Downtown Charlottesville. Great prices, better drinks and really good food! Although busy, the server was on top of everything and made sure that we were taken care of. The outside seating offers plenty of shade and the music was perfect for a chill lunch on a Friday afternoon.

I really wanted to like this place. They frequently have live music and have a great vibe for drinks and music. A lot if my friends love this place so I was excited to finally try it.

A Charlottesville must for lunch or dinner. I have been here several times and have had nothing but amazing food and drinks. Cocktails, wine and beer with a nice whiskey list. A varied menu with something to appeal to any palate. Excellent service and staff too. Right in the heart of downtown Charlottesville at the West end of the walking mall. Do not miss this place!

The staff were great, the environment was fun, but it was a very warm night with just outside air, and it would have been more enjoyable if the restaurant had AC. The drink list was amazing, and the Whiskey list was stellar! They definitely shined there. The food was ok – Don’t get the mac and cheese, it tasted like plastic with not even a hint of chesse flavor. The French dip and smoked chiken wings were the best thing we tried. The BBQ were over seasoned and the “pulled pork” was so tough you had to cut it with a knife instead of it just fallin apart with a stroke of your fork. The giant pretzel was good, but would have been better with a nice mustard instead of flavorless cheese dip.

Food here is consistently under-seasoned. Gave this place another chance and tried the blackened fish sandwich, and their Po boy. Both were incredibly under-seasoned, and the meat was barely there for both. Due to the lack of consistency in the meat, the bread overpowered both sandwiches and that’s what came through the most. The fries were decent, and it was edible which is why I gave it 3 stars and not 2 – it just was not very flavorful or tasty and I wouldn’t go back, nor would I recommend it to a friend.

Wow this place is top notch! Tom was super knowledgeable and gave me the lay of the land for restaurants and bar in the area. 1/2 off VA whiskeys during happy hour 3-6 M-F! Definitely worth making a stop. 100s of whiskeys and bourbons to choice from.
