Amazing chill bar one minute away from the lifts at Copper. They’ve got the friendliest staff and bartenders, AMAZING events (Bob Ross night!), and great beer. It feels like a community, where old friends and just folks popping in and out share stories and beers together. If you are in Copper, pop in!

1/10 for Pink Whitney. 12/10 for experience, rim jobs and O-Bombs. High recommend the shot ski. 100/10 for Ralph.

Austin gave me the best rim job I’ve ever had.

This old dark highway
I drive alone
This old camper van
This stubborn stone

Outside it’s 34 degrees
You’ve got the door wide open
I just came in hoping
that I could get a drink
and wouldn’t freeze

This place is so dang cold
my breath hangs in the air
Why did I come here?
Middle of nowhere

Back down to the city
I drive alone
This is my journey
This stubborn stone

Edit: Actually I took down the first review, and then changed this one. I just have to wonder….is there a particular reason on keeping the door open?

The staff at this place makes it so much fun to enjoy a quick cocktail and snacks. If it’s whiskey you like, they offer up over 100 different whiskeys ranging from $12 – $170 a serving…you will surely find something you LOVE ❤️

Bartender Austin I think his name was, he was great. Great selection! Prices were way higher than everywhere else around. Also they only had soup. A little bit more, at least couple options would help. Just got a beer and a great conversation.

I visited around 3pm on February 21, 2025. There were maybe 6 or 7 other patrons. The bar seemed to have just opened. The bartender took my order for one of their house specialities. He then proceeded to completely ignore me and not make my drink while filling those for other patrons, including several of what appeared to be his friends. After 10 minutes of waiting, I assumed that the issue was because I ordered a drink that takes longer to prepare. After 20 minutes of waiting, still with a bar of no more than 7 other patrons and with me clearly in plain view waiting for my order, I knew I was being completely ignored. I left.

Perhaps this terrible service is because I’m Black visiting a bar and a ski resort that is overwhelmingly white. No way to know for sure. But, people of color, beware of this spot.

Good bar with an excellent selection of whiskey’s at Copper Mountain. Good spot, sort of hidden gem to unwind after skiing it post dinner in Copper’s Center Village. Staff very nice . A New Yorker visiting late season treated with grace.

Worst service I’ve experienced in my many visits to Copper and I won’t be back. I came in March 30 around 2:30 p.m. and the bartender rejected my first order because it didn’t live up to what he thought someone should want from a whiskey bar. Then, he rejected the second order because, as he put it, “I don’t really like making those, either.”

He was so rude, even other patrons at the bar seemed taken aback by his attitude. I wasn’t in the mood to argue, so instead of the drink I ordered, I ended up with a $30 shot of something I didn’t want, and that didn’t taste good in the first place.

I won’t be wasting any more money, time or patience here.
