One of the best joints in wisconsin. Food was amazing. French onion soup, spaghetti sauce with garlic bread is so tomatoes (tes, that’s a word)….and the Saturday Brisket, so awesome

Great place for a sandwich and of course their pizza! Started out our Saturday with a specialty drink Strawberry Wheelhouse Julep (see pic) served in a copper mug with fresh mint garnish. I had a sausage pizza, amazing! The grated Parmesan cheese and pepper flakes were so good, and the containers they come in were quite new and clean (unlike some other establishments)! Friends enjoyed the Ruben sandwich and the Cajun catfish sandwich. All of us gave our food two thumbs up! Our server was very attentive and we didn’t feel rushed to turn over our table on a busy evening.

We’ve went elsewhere last 2-3 times out. Cocktails are very poor. 1st Ruben there was excellent… last couple was hard to find the meat. Pizza is blah… sparse ingredients w a layer of so-so mozzarella cheeze. All while being overpriced overall.
We go elsewhere now.

Went to Wheelhouse for family birthday party of 8, place was packed however we were seated within 10 minutes which was awesome. Had the Broasted Chicken special, it was so salty it was inedible. Others wanted something fried but they don’t have any fryers the waitress stated it is much cleaner environment without them. All sandwiches were served with potato chips and not the high end kind either, I think they went to Kwik Trip for them. The group of 8 sat around the table and could not hear anything any one said because the acoustics were so bad, every one kept saying huh? Finally the bill came, an automatic 20%was added for a group of 8 and the waitress stated extra tips are appreciated. Overall Wheelhouse is an overpriced, overrated tourist restaurant. Don’t waste your time or money. However the 2 people who had pizza said it was excellent so maybe order to go.

Delicious meal. The soups are outstanding. We had the burgundy beef mushroom soup and the baked French onion. Good service on a very busy night. Wednesday night ribs are amazing

The pizza was fabulous… we were with a group of 8… and were promptly seated with room to spare. Our wait staff was knowledgeable and had great suggestions. The pizza crust was not the focus of this pizza (to my happy surprise) And the toppings were overflowing.
The pizza was cut into squares… so not all slices had a portion of the outside crust… just piles if toppings. They were open for social Distanced dine in seating… much appreciated!
You will love seeing this little tourist town and its lakes. If you make it there, definitely East at the Wheel House.

Food quality is good and prices are reasonable! The service was also great. All in all, my 7 other friends and I had a really good experience here. An easy 5 for me!!

At the risk of cancellation, this joint has some of the best comfort food in the Northwoods; served by maybe the nicest, most attractive (in that order) staff >the area. Only complaint was eggs were marginal, but biscuits n gravy might’ve been the best I ever had.

Went in for a couple of drinks and a bite to eat after a long day of driving Wisconsin’s pretty awful roads. I had a couple of local brews and a dish of ravioli, and my wife had a cider and a plate of lasagna. Very good!

I went to the Wheelhouse restaurant with a couple of my friends. When someone who wasn’t even my waiter came up to me and started swearing at me and calling me names I did not appreciate it. She told me to keep her name out of my mouth even though I was just saying that I didn’t know she worked here Luckily my waiter who was very nice told me it wouldn’t happen again. I do think that this was very unprofessional of someone to come up to me and start yelling in my face and swearing at me.
