I had an incredible time catching the I&I Reggae Band’s performance at Wheel House Beer Garden, 4109 7th St, North Beach, MD, from 2:00–5:00 PM. I was thrilled to discover a daytime live band at a restaurant—such a rare treat! The band’s performance blew me away, and I’m already looking forward to seeing them again.
Wheel House Beer Garden has a warm, inviting vibe, making it a perfect weekend spot for locals to unwind. While the restaurant doesn’t serve food, the Bowl 29 food truck is on-site for tasty bites. The alcoholic orange slushie was a refreshing highlight!
After the band’s first set, the venue surprised everyone by releasing bubbles into the air—a fun, engaging touch that kept the crowd buzzing. Tonight, SuckerPunch Rock N Roll band takes the stage from 6:00–9:00 PM. Don’t miss this hidden gem in North Beach—definitely worth a visit!

Very lively spot with some very nice bartenders. Dog friendly outside and inside the tented areas. Drinks were good as well and appreciated how dog friendly they were! Would recommend.

We’ve been loyal customers since they opened! James is an amazing mixologist, and the staff is fun and helpful. Often having good music, trivia nights and other events. The main thing is the vibe. It’s a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. You can met with friends, or just chill at one of the fire pit tables. A cozy feeling in a beach neighborhood!

Visiting for the first time in 20 years, stumbled on this place randomly. Super awesome vibe, bartenders James and Mike were incredible, and their drinks were phenomenal. Definitely coming back before we leave, it’s really that good. Highly recommend!

Best watering hole in southern MD by all counts. Great staff, great atmosphere, and the owners are incredible. More craft beers than you can count, amazing cocktails and always have great live music. When every local artist wants to play the you can be sure that the talent chosen is top notch. No kitchen but will have food provided by partnering local businesses delivered to you for your convenience. If you know, you know. If you don’t, come find out!!!! Excellent experience. And dog friendly, if the dog is friendly.

My partner and I went to The Wheel House Beer Garden on a Saturday night, it was PACKED (which wasn’t surprising considering they have live music on Saturdays and the weather was gorgeous). I was a little worried at first because I wasn’t sure whether we were suppose to order from the bar or if we could order from a table and we honestly considered going some place less crowded.. We ended up sitting down at a table and almost immediately one of the servers/bartenders came up to ask us if we had been helped yet. We ordered a coconut mojito (SO delicious and sweet), a signature margarita, and the habanero mango margarita (my partner LOVED this one, it has a nice hot aftertaste). Even though there were a ton of people, the service was incredible, every time a waitress/bartender walked past the table the asked if we needed anything- we were never waiting for drinks! They don’t serve food, but you can order from Vaughan Cheese which is across the street (They have incredible food)!) We definitely plan on coming back and if you’re in North Beach you should definitely check this place out!

We came here for a few drinks during a small Bachelorette party, it was slower and not many people outside because it had just rained. We were standing in a group outside the doors, and James came up and wiped down some chairs for us and had a wonderful bartender, Hayden come take care of us. James was SO nice and told us all about the place, recommended other spots to check out, and made sure we were comfortable. Hayden got us some great drinks and the “mini beers” shot which was like ice cream! Super sweet and very attentive and fun staff! Thank you so much for helping us have a great time!

My boyfriend and I are visiting for vacation and we stumbled across this absolute gem. Mike and James are amazing and so are the drinks they make! The vibes here are incredible and we will absolutely be coming here every time we visit Maryland, 100% recommend!
