Attended the Halloween party here 2022. Lots of fun. Great cocktails and local brews. Friendly, efficient bartenders. Live music added to the party atmosphere. Wheel House hosts several events on a weekly basis including live bands and trivia night. Located in Niwot, a small, quaint town with good restaurants and unique shops.

A funky taco truck is associated with the wheelhouse. The wheelhouse will serve you drinks and let you sit down in their fairly expansive dining area and you can get your tacos from the taco truck. In my book the atmosphere lost a star because it was too hot.

Service is not their strong suit. You need to go to the bar to get a drink. They’ll talk and talk to patrons at the bar but won’t come service tables. Also their website is not up to date. The food truck was closed for 2 weeks but it wasn’t noted on their website.

The new kitchen is running! After this week’s Whiskey Tasting event, I stayed for dinner. WH has a great pub menu with interesting takes on burgers, hot dogs and even Brussel sprouts. I had the Skinny Smash burger and an order of wings. Both terrific. Good family spot w live music on weekends.

We booked the Wheel House for our parent’s retirement party and our experience was phenomenal. Staff was so helpful and responsive and had so many options and ideas to make the experience great for our guests. Everyone had a great time and made multiple mentions to me that the venue was perfect for the event. The barstaff were incredible and ensured our guests received a high level of service all night. This is already a great local bar, but it is also a great event space. Thank you Eric and Tammy for everything!

We took a bike ride to town to check out the local venues. The atmosphere was inviting, unique, and clean. We were warmly welcomed and had continued conversation and great service with the staff. Drinks were well made, and the staff is happy to answer any questions you might have. Live music, open music mic, and trivia — this bar is bringing back social life in a safe way in a challenging time. Love the Buy Your Friend a Beer board! We are sure to return.

The Wheelhouse is a great place for private events. We had our daughter’s wedding rehearsal party there. The staff was so great to work with, the price was phenomenal, and the space was so welcoming and accommodating for everyone.
