Walked in for the first time and felt immediately at home. I am drawn to hammered copper bars, and this one was very nice. The owners introduced themselves and made me feel like a regular immediately. I can’t wait to return in warmer weather to try out the outdoor seating!

One of the worst bars in town. Only one pool table, which patrons do not follow the sign up board. “Regulars” will cut you in line and the bartenders will always take the “regulars” side. This place is a joke. Go spend your money at mayfly. Wayyyyy more competent ownership. Whales tales is simply a hole in the wall

Having a small, close knit and FUN bar in the point + close to home is the best! The bartenders are always so welcoming, quick to serve, and a vibe of their own. The owners are great too. Live music is always fantastic, and the mix of djs is fun too. Only thing that would make it better is to have food – but that certainly doesn’t take away from this great local spot.

A Gem right here in Point Place! Owners Rodger and Leslie definitely put a lot of work into turning this bar into a unique, cozy bar. Very welcoming and very diverse, which is awesome! They take pride in their bar and it certainly shows.
People complain about them not having a kitchen for food, but you are allowed to bring in take out which is awesome and also gives you an opportunity to support other local businesses in Point Place. There are a ton of breweries that do not sell food, so this is not a make it or break it.

My wife and I walked in expecting a regular night out but were shocked by the atmosphere—it felt more like a gentleman’s club than a bar. The owner was overly flirtatious, and there was a group tossing money on the bar like it was a stage show. We also overheard some troubling rumors about unprofessional behavior involving staff and the owner’s husband. Definitely not what we were expecting from this place.

Tiny little place. I’m new to the area and barely know anyone, and as a female I was nervous going into a bar by myself in the first place. The customers and bartender treated me like absolute garbage… like I was a second class citizen just because I didn’t know anyone there. Took forever to get a drink. I was told they have NO food, just chips or you have to order from a place down the road. I will never step foot in that place again. The places downtown are higher class and don’t treat people as bad as they do there.
