This place was the BEST! We had lunch here yesterday and breakfast today! Great views, great food, and AMAZING service! Today, we had Luis as a server and he was so attentive and friendly! He gave some information we were looking for on the beach, and he was so funny! Definitely coming back!

Incredible view of the Gulf. Stopped in for a late lunch. Cold beers and a very cold Hurricanes – nice and strong. Got some food too. Crab cakes were extremely good. Shrimp was grilled to perfection. Waitstaff was great. They let us have a very relaxed leisurely lunch without making us feel like we need to leave to turn the table.

My family and I were in town in November and wanted to have lunch at a seafood restaurant on the beach so we stopped here. We made the mistake of not looking at the menu before going in and assumed they would have seafood. We walked in and it could use some maintenance on the entrance walkway. Was afraid might step through the wood. Luckily there was a table available out on the deck and were seated right away. The view was great because you are literally on the beach. We really wanted some seafood plater type of meal but they had more of a bar type menu. We were there so ended up ordering some cheese sticks and a drink to enjoy the view before finding somewhere else to eat. I had the large mermaids brew to drink and it was a good beach drink to have. The server was friendly and the cheese sticks were like any ones you’d get at the grocery store. Would recommend if you want somewhere to grab something to eat while hanging out at the beach.

I had the fried shrimp, one dozen. Bigger shrimp, fresh and tasty. I think the price is quite good for the meal. My wife had the fish tacos, less well priced due to lower amount of fish in the tacos. Overall, food is quite tasty. We had a group of 6. Each liked their meal. Beach view is excellent! Sat outside, very enjoyable. Would eat there again.

We came for breakfast which was OK, but not great. I had the Whaler and Wife had the breakfast wrap, we wouldn’t get either one again.

We ate at Whale Tail after a day of renting pontoon boats.
Our party had 8 people so we were happy that they sat us right away.
The view was amazing… an open patio right on the ocean.
Everyone liked their food and their cocktails. Although no one was blown away by the food. It was good food, a good price for the meals and definitely a great place to go.
It wouldn’t take much to increase the food quantity just a little and make Whale Tail spectacular.

I got the chicken tacos. This was supposed to be a decent dinner after an 8 hour drive to the beach. The tortillas were only half cooked, the stuffing inside consisted of 2 nickel size pieces of chicken, a few shreds of cheese and a lot of lettuce. The meal came with fries which were decent but had no salt on them. The service was not good. I was brought a glass of water, and even though I asked twice for a refill, I ate my dinner without anything to drink. The birds were the best part of this experience.

This place was highly recommended by my friend’s boss, so we had to check it out! Their location is amazing! They have a beautiful view of the sunset from their outdoor deck. As we walked up we were warmly greeted by the host and seated right away. I love the beachy diner shack vibe. The food was great! I ordered the shrimp skewers and it came with a full stick from tip to bottom of shrimp. The grilled flavor was delicious, the side of grilled veggies and corn on the cob and rice also had a delightful taste! Our server was awesome. Just a great overall atmosphere and food. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for the Moon Crush beach party. Nice location on the beach. Shared Tuna Spread, Wings and Peel & Eat Shrimp. Food was good for the price. Although they can plus up the presentation. Drinks were good and beach party atmosphere was fun. Great way to kick off the music festival.
