Our first visit recently was during a Saturday afternoon road trip and we stopped in to see what all the hype was about. It’s true! Great food and amazing staff!
The atmosphere is interior design is great mix of materials for a modern western small town feel! We sat at a high top table that was surprisingly comfortable.
Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Her small town customer service was exceptional and made the experience the best it could be! Thank you for having the kitchen cut the burger for easy sharing.
The selection of appetizers and burgers on the menu seemed intriguing and we chose to share the Bison burger. This did not disappoint! The deep fried pickle on top was a great touch. All ingredients were fresh and flavourful. The home cut fries were seasoned perfectly.
We had heard that the in-house fresh donuts were all the rage. Clearly a true fact. Due to being late in the afternoon arrival the day’s selection was picked down yet we chose the sticky cinnamon buns to go. Once home we ate these buns and were excellent! The cream cheese icing was amazing and bun itself was fresh soft and delicious. (Note, picture shown is stock photo from Westwood page. Forgot to take my own picture)
It’s amazing to experience a small business getting it right! Food , service and experience all amazing! See you again soon Westwood!

The food and service were excellent. The split level dining area really gives the place a welcoming atmosphere. Really enjoyed the roll up garage doors in the front room, you feel like your sitting on a patio.

Came here with my parents for a birthday lunch and we were blown away by the food. Considering the variety of the menu, we were impressed at how good everything was—from the bbq, to the vegetarian dishes, to the drinks and baked goods. Our server, Ashlyn, took amazing care of us. Thanks for such a wonderful service—we’ll be back!

I had the rice bowl with the brisket burnt tips, yum! Loved the flavor blend. (Picture below). The other 3 people I was with all had the fish and chips. They loved it!! All 3 of them said the
same thing. “It sure puts Blowers &
Grafton’s fish n chips to shame.”
It was a beautiful hot day. One wall was a garage door. It was opened for the light breeze. It was perfect with the sent of freshly cut Lilacs on the tables. Very comfortable. A no rush place. I’ll be back.

It was surprisingly good! As I got the fish and chips in the middle of alberta lol. But wow the plate was awesome , good presentation as well . Good prices as well. A rice bowl was also ordered and it was said to be very good, it looked really well made and very fresh.

One of my favourite places in the Calgary area. Well-worth the drive to Black Diamond. Delicious, homemade food with quality ingredients that you can really taste.
My favourites include their Lamb or Beef Burgers and Fish Tacos. The Shoestring Fries are freshly made and the accompanying dips are tasty too. Truffle is obviously my fav.
They also make AMAZING Donuts but go early for those as they often sell out.
The perfect spot for a weekend drive and a patio lunch!

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food. The pumpkin coconut soup was perfect. And so was the lamb burger. I loved them both. We came here after a hike and the sofa upstairs is a nice touch. Amazing place and we will be back!
