Never imagined Irish food could be this good. I had the Irish vegetable curry bowl with rice and it was flavorful, hearty and really satisfying. Paired it with an amazing pint of Guinness and it was the perfect combo.

Friendly service, cozy vibe and food that exceeded expectations. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Westbury.

An amazing experience here. Luke was the bar man when we were there and he really made us feel at home. Exceptional service exactly what you are looking for from an Irish bar. Everyone should come here!

Stopped in on a Sunday to catch a bit of the game. Buffalo Chicken spring rolls were great and beer cold. But what really sets this place apart was the staff. Great energy and vibes from all bar staff. Game that I was interested wasn’t on but they made a great effort to get the game for me. Refills timing was spot on and felt welcomed. I’m not in Manhattan all the time but would make sure I hit this spot. There are plenty of bars in area, it’s the people that make it special.

We originally attended to go the the other Irish pub on the same street but it was closed so we went here instead for an easy dinner and a taste of home. Though described as a pub, it is set up so much more as a bar/restaurant with prices reflective of the latter.

The house rosè tasted incredibly cheap considering it was $16/small glass. Ordered the ‘sunday roast’ and while I don’t expect much of a roast dinner from an American, I think it’s taking liberties to describe this is a sunday roast at all. The meat was lovely and tender and the mash was nice but the gravy (which was poured all over everything) was so incredibly salty to the point of sickness and we were given massive bowls of carrots and broccoli which just seemed like the veg they were trying to get rid of at the end of the night. For $35 for a roast dinner; I expect a much better quality overall ensemble. It seemed crazy to go out for a cheap/easy meal and end up spending just short of $200.

Atmosphere was fine, if not a little dead, but the music was so loud it was difficult to talk over. It was good music (contemporary country, a LOT of Zach Bryan) but definitely an irritating volume level.

I didn’t catch her name but we were served by a blonde girl who was lovely and attentive and the building was physically nice but overall, this was dissatisfying and left a (salty) taste in my mouth.

I’d say this was my favourite of the pubs I visited in NY, it had a relaxed vibe, it showed the football (UK football) on TV, and the service was impeccable – Debbie (I think it was) behind the bar was friendly and extremely attentive without being overbearing. I wish I’d found this place first before trying some of the other places I popped in.

Stumbled upon this place with my girlfriend and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised! Food was good. Service was great. Atmosphere was amazing! There is 1 all gender restroom on the floor with the main bar. Then there are stalls downstairs. There was an upstairs area which we didn’t go to but it seemed equally as cool if not cooler. I got the Irish breakfast, and in case you do the same, the buttered bread is diy and the butter is under the bread. I didn’t realize that until it was too late. When we were leaving we mentioned coming back again with friends. 10/10 recommend though if you’re in the area.

I swung by The Westbury on a Sunday afternoon and was very happy to have discovered this Irish pub! What stood out about this spot was the very friendly bartender who took my order. She was super nice and talkative.

The bar itself is pretty spacious with a massive counter bar and seating in the front and back. The menu had some authentic Irish dishes and a variety of beer which is always nice.

I ordered the shepherds pie which was very delicious. They had other items on the menu which I’ve never had before such as the bacon butty. Next time!

Pro-tip: If you are seeking a pub that shows Irish tournaments such as hurling then The Westbury is the place to be!

It is a very lovely place. I went there at the best time of the year – St. Patrick’s Day: The atmosphere was great. The services were incredible. The food – Irish Full Breakfast – was awesome.. I missed out on the Irish coffee because I can’t drink coffee or alcohol .
