Located off of scenic route 88 in Wheeling, West Virginia, the West Sports bar is a spacious family friendly restaurant featuring multiple large event venues and outdoor seating. Featuring a scratch kitchen which serves local, fresh, and sustainable ingredients, the West Sports bar caters to all parties large or small. Our spacious and updated venues can easily hold up to 250 people comfortably. Join us for live entertainment every Friday night from 7:00pm-10:00pm, or for karaoke every Saturday night 9:00pm to 1am. Great food, great views, great service!

The food was pretty good, the dessert was great. The historic building is unique to eat in and there are several different dining areas and a bar. Reservations and collared shirts are recommended. The dining room is in the basement.

Thru the toughest circumstances in years, Charlie and his Top Hand Jeremiah/ staff have brought The West / Stratford Springs back from closure to a thriving Special Occasion, Dining Room and Sports Bar second to none. The menu has such a variety that everyones taste are satisfied. This only works with a cooking Staff with pride,drive and respect for each customers dish . The West has an extensive Salad menu that I order from weekly. My personal favorite is the Greek Salad with Blackened Chicken topped with Charlie’s Greek Dressing but there are literally over a dozen choices. Our Weekends are often highlighted by The West Breakfast menu with choices from French Toast to Mexican specialties that are phenomenal. Its not hard to tell by reviews who have actually been to The West.

My husband and I attended the Christmas Eve Eve event. It was very nice with a free buffet and live entertainment!! We had a lovely time. We have been to The West several times for various things and we always enjoy ourselves. The staff is exceptional and are always attentive to their guests. (Jeremiah and Corey are awesome!!)

Great food and great service! Jeremiah is awesome. He is always friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. There is a nice variety, but it is the quality that keeps me coming back. They also have brunch on Sundays! Their breakfast sausage is the best i have ever had. Check out this gem, you will not be disappointed!!
