We encountered a charming little booth during the bicentennial celebration of White Haven. The young lady at the booth was exceptionally friendly. I was delighted to find Welsh cookies, as they are a rare treat. We also purchased strawberry shortbread cookies and jammie dodgers. Regardless, each of these delectable treats exceeded our expectations. All of these flavors flooded my mind with memories of my grandmom. In fact, we have made plans to visit the shop in Clarks Summit next weekend. They were truly delicious! Thank you.

This place is wonderful! I took my daughter for their grand opening and we had a great time. The Welsh cookies are delicious.
My favorite are the lemon blueberry. We are of Welsh heritage. My mother was born in Wales during WWII, and came to America as a child with my Grandmother who was Welsh and my Grandfather who was an American soldier. There are not many places to celebrate our Welsh heritage in the area. So thankful this little shop opened in the area. I have already gone two more times to restock on cookies and to purchase some to send to my daughter’s school.

If you haven’t stopped by The Welsh Tea Shoppe, you’re missing out! The smell of freshly made cookies is delightful, and the decor is homey. Every picture has a story and the owners are very hospitable and when I asked, they pleasantly told me about their decor. I’m looking forward to returning to try another cookie flavor and try some of their teas!
