Nothing real special. Crust tastes a lot like Dominos. Sauce is decent. The only plus is that the ham/Canadian bacon was better than most places. Sausage and pepperoni were average. They may be known for specialty pizzas, but if that’s the case the basics should be just as good if not better. Would try again. Still better than Pag’s though.

I travel to Iowa City about once a month, and always look for local food. I ordered a whole pizza, along with cheese bread. The cheesebread is served with 2 ranch and 2 marinara . It is huge, and some of the best cheese bread I have had. The pizza is always loaded with toppings, and never soggy. This is my go to place for pizza now every time I’m in town. Also super close to my hotel which doesn’t hurt.

I always appreciate the vegan cheese option and variety of veg specialty pizzas!! Parking is tricky at the new spot downtown but that’s not a surprise – I’m just so glad they’re still around so it’s worth the little bit of hassle.

Soooo disappointed. I ordered canadian bacon but received chopped ham. They are NOT the same. Pizzeria menus need to clearly say “chopped ham” if they don’t have true canadian bacon because they taste so much different and I would have never ordered that topping had I known. .

We stopped by on our way through town, headed back to Des Moines. It was great to order ahead and pick it up right on time. The pizza was hot and tasty. We had two regular and two gluten free pizzas and they were all good.
