Diners are also able to customize entrée selections with choice of preparation style, sauce, and temperature. The Wave also features fresh locally sourced seafood and produce, as well as select Cuban specialties developed by Costa’s owners, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, from their Estefan Kitchen Cookbook.

Start your evening off with a “happy hour” priced cocktail on the outside patio. Then indoors for your reservation for supper.
We visited on Wednesday which was paella night. It was great – comes as a serving for two and we took home a to-go bag for what we couldn’t finish.
We started with the Black Bean Hummus appetizer, which was flavorful and fresh. For our mains, Claire had the Mojo Marinated Chicken (which I have to admit, I wish I’d ordered because it was incredible!), while I went with their famous American Wagyu Beef Burger, which definitely lived up to its reputation.
Great food, great drinks, and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend The Wave for anyone visiting Vero Beach!
Dessert is a wide choice of selection from flan to churros – both of which are delicious!
The service is always great, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. And don’t leave without trying a drink — their espresso martinis and sangria are truly out of this world.
An excellent spot for a great meal, drinks, and consistently wonderful service. Highly recommend!

Con first, a bit loud for conversation with the live music. Not bad music, just hard to converse.
Pros -Enjoyed their drinks, two of us had the mahi and it was so delicious we didn’t want it end! A couple had their recommended Cuban faire and enjoyed it as well.
Staff did a good job, no complaints.
We would definitely eat there again but perhaps try to sit outside.
Before going to the restaurant I called to find out details. As we pulled away i call back, spoke to Teri, that I spoke to before said yes, they do have availability and gave us a reservation within a few minutes.
When we pulled back into the restaurant, the valet guy said, “oh something must’ve opened”, sounded like BS! When we walked inside the restaurant they had plenty of seating for two. And I sure didn’t see anyone from the out side coming inside. Gabriella our server started great, then it seemed like once a party of 3 came sat at the table next to us became priority. After she took away our lunch plates she asked if we wanted our check? I ask for espresso and desert. Took our coffee and desert order and she got lost after that. I had to get up twice to look for her.
The restaurant was not that busy. When she came after the first time looking for her, she apologized and said it got real busy, I said to her, “It doesnt look busy”, she got defensive and blamed it on the cooks; “We only have 4 cooks for outside, inside and hotel. Deserts took longer than the meal to come out.
We will go back for the food and host Teri!
