Worth the visit! Small town restaurant with some amazing food. Will definitely visit again. Just missed out on their prime rib that’s only served Thursdays and Fridays after 5pm. Got there about 6:30 and they were already sold out gives me something to look forward to for next time!

Solid two here…maybe 1.5. I was staying in the area and looking for something somewhat decent to eat besides the normal national chains. I went here to get oysters and wings…and more. When I got there I got the last 6 oysters after trying to order 6 more. The company I was with wanted chicken wings and they were sold out. The beer I wanted was sold out. The same company wanted a pretzel bun on their sandwich….guess what they were out of this too!! I get that you get busy and sell out, but not one of the hosts or the waitresses told us about this before we sat down. If they would have I would have left and went somewhere else. I do appreciate them only charging for one oyster I assume because none of the items we wanted were in stock. I’d suggest calling and asking if the item you want is in stock before going here. If they do have it…by all means go. I would rate this place a solid 4 if they had everything I wanted. It would be a five if the seating was a little more intimate instead of looking like it was just thrown into a big room.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant—my first and last visit, without a doubt. The only positive aspect of my encounter was the young lady who answered my call. Initially, I checked the website for the menu, chose what I wanted, and called to place an order. I was informed it would take 25 minutes. I left my house about five minutes later, knowing it takes me 13 minutes to get there.

Upon arrival, I discovered that the restaurant didn’t exist at the given address. I called again and was provided with a new address. Politely, I informed the hostess that the location on Google was incorrect (edit to add Googles address was correct my GPS was wrong, as it hadn’t updated the new address). After much frustration, I called once more and learned that the restaurant was a small, unmarked white house tucked beneath numerous trees—completely unfindable without proper signage. It looked like someone’s residence.

I squeezed into the tiny parking lot, and as I tried to park, a man yelled from across the lot asking if I was picking up and telling me I was not in a proper parking spot. Frankly, at that moment, I should have left and saved myself the hassle. However, my family was hungry, so I proceeded inside.

What I encountered was absolute chaos. The place was so overcrowded that navigating through was nearly impossible. The environment felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Once I finally reached the “pick up” area, my food was just sitting out on the bar, completely unheated. She showed me my order and, honestly, the condition of the food was unacceptable. For nearly $60, I received a burger, chicken tenders, and over-fried Oreos that were all cold. The fries were terrible as well.

The atmosphere was unfriendly and unwelcoming. If you don’t fit the “good ole boy” stereotype, you might want to think twice before visiting this place. It’s not worth your time or money.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. What’s not to love?? Be sure to make reservations though, we waited a long time on a Saturday night. Well worth the wait however.

Well worth the drive off I75. French dip was perfect and I have had a lot of them with this one ranking at the top.

Shrimp tacos where great. Got them grilled and blackened. Just enough spice to tingle the taste buds but not overpower the shrimp!

Service was extremely good.

I’d been wanting to get in here for a while. Stopped in before the Woodland Adairsville football game and it was great! Burger was fantastic, beer was fresh on tap and it was packed. Plenty of folks in there to mingle with.

Food is fresh and delicious.
The strawberry spring salad was very good (it could have used more greens) and the salmon on top was cooked to perfection.
My husband really enjoyed The chopped steak.
The Philly was very flavorful. The only note was that the cheese is only on the top. It would be better if it were more evenly distributed so that each bite had cheese as it is a large sandwiches.
Turkey Bacon Swiss was very fresh with nice and crispy bread.
The fries and onion rings were wonderful.
The apple butter old fashion was an unusual twist but very tasty. I wish they used a little bigger glass or a smaller ice cube so you could get the cinnamon stick in the drink.

Water Tower Grill is a true gem in Adairsville, offering an exceptional dining experience that feels like a big-city restaurant with the warmth of a small-town vibe. Owned by the fantastic husband-and-wife team MJ and Candace, they’ve recently relocated to a charming downtown building, which perfectly complements the inviting and vibrant atmosphere.

The food is absolutely incredible—every single item on the menu is a standout, from appetizers to entrees and desserts. You can taste the passion and attention to detail in every bite. It’s amazing to have such a high-quality dining option right here in Adairsville!

One of the highlights of Water Tower Grill is their impressive full bar, especially for bourbon enthusiasts. They have a huge selection, and they also host monthly bourbon tasting events that are not to be missed. These events are an incredible opportunity to sample rare and expensive bourbons while enjoying a carefully crafted multi-course dinner. The pictures I’m sharing are from these outstanding evenings, which showcase just how special the experience is.

Holly, our favorite bartender, always adds to the fun with her warm personality and excellent service. We usually sit in the bar area for dinner because of its lively yet welcoming atmosphere.

The overall vibe is family-friendly, but it’s also a perfect spot for a night out with friends or a special date. Water Tower Grill truly offers something for everyone, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on one of Adairsville’s best dining experiences!

Highly recommend!

You have got to order the Garlic Parmesan fries. They must be dipped in liquid gold! Try the Big Johnson! Cooked to perfection and tasty as can be. MJ is the owner and chief cook and bottle washer. Great guy. Great staff.
