Wide variety of choices on the menu, something for everyone . Polite service.
Food was good, house salad better than most, prime rib was among the top my husband has had, the just apparently made no 1!

Beautiful location, beautiful building. River runs underneath the patio. Service was excellent and we were well taken care of. Good food. BBQ brisket all-beef hotdog was huge. Nice, large selection of drinks. Some of the best food we had in Estes Park. It was quiet when we were there, but I can see how it might be different at peak hours.

We ate dinner here the first night we were in town. They were close to our rental and online reviews said they did well with gluten free food choices.
It was fantastic. The dining room is cozy and comfortable, the menu had great choices without being overwhelming, and the whiskey selection is to die for.
One of the owners works the front of house and has celiac. He was on top of it making me feel safe with my food choices and ensuring the kitchen could make the adjustments I needed and still turn out something tasty.
We ended up eating dinner here all 3 nights we were in town. We did try some other joints for lunches that were good, but we were very happy going back to Wapiti.
The ownership team continued to make us feel like family every night. They cook everything fresh to order so they were even willing to try making me GF/DF onion rings (which came out great!)
We also enjoyed the huge selection of whiskey. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a great tasting experience. I hear there’s another ‘haunt’ in town that has a whiskey bar. But why pay for parking to have a stuffy experience when the team at Wapiti is waiting for you to be a part of the family?

The food was wonderful here! We shared wings, nachos and each got a meal. The waiter was so kind and attentive. The atmosphere outside was beautiful with the brook running through nearby. The waiter put on a heater for us to stay warm. The view is the mountain from our table was wonderful. We would definitely give the outside seating area a 5 star if we didn’t have bees (?)flying around our food. Perhaps they were yellow jackets? They did not look like honey bees . The waiter knew there was a nest nearby so not sure why it was not removed. , and he did check in with us to be sure we were okay… but everything else was top notch! Someone who works at The Stanley Hotel recommended we eat here when we asked. We are so happy we visited!

I liked the charm of Wapiti’s old “underground” location, but they have managed to take that with them to their new, roomier locale. The food is always incredible, and I am grateful that they are always there when I return to Estes Park each autumn.

What a quaint, beautiful little place. The food was amazing, I had the salmon linguini and my husband had the chicken avocado sandwich. So flavorful and the portions huge. We sat in the lounge for dinner and it was cozy with a good view of the river. Drinks were delicious!

Our go to date spit in estes, right on the river with friendly staff. Steak sandwich and coleslaw are so good. Ask for the apple bourbon mule from their friendly bartender.

This restaurant was recommended by Streamside on Fall River since it was right next door. Great lodge-like decor with open rooms and seating outside along the river. They have a huge bar and a varied menu. The food was good and the service was fast and friendly. It’s a great choice if you want to get away from the downtown Estes Park crowds.
