Found this cafe so randomly and am I glad or what!! Loved it. Their sandwiches are spot on! Well put together and tastes brilliant! Ordered the turkey Swiss cheese sandwich, pickle sandwich & Brie blueberry sandwich + 2 vanilla lattes. Everything tasted so so good.
Really cute decor. Small & cozy cafe. Squeaky clean including the restroom. 10/10 hopefully I’ll be back!!

We were impressed by The Wandering Cafe! First of all, the salad was HUGE. I had the Pioneer sandwich and my wife had the Sightseer salad. We were both very full and satisfied by the end. The food was delicious and fresh tasting. They had a kid grilled cheese that came with chips and some fruit for the kiddo.
It’s well decorated and has a cozy vibe. You can buy local art or goods as well. Friendly service as well. Highly recommend overall.

Soo delicious and the best dirty chai tea I’ve had! Prices are good for a busy city! Customer service was nice. This is a really cozy cafe, it does have limited seating but the atmosphere is very comfortable and tidy. I loved my breakfast sandwich! If I come to Wasilla AK again, I definitely will come back here. Recommending to all my friends ! Tomato Basil soup was super delicious!

**Update** I’ve been back several times and it’s always amazing. I love the fact they regularly have something new to try! Their winter salad was phenomenal!
Wow. I just have to start with wow. I think this was the best lunch I’ve ever had anywhere in the valley. I got the fall salad and the tomato basil soup. The salad was absolutely loaded and the dressing was perfectly balanced. The tomato soup was thick, rich, warm, and exactly what I need to go back out into the chilly fall air. My husband got the Pioneer sandwich and immediately demanded I try it. If I could gasp with a full mouth, I would have. Absolutely perfectly balanced and sturdy while being soft to the bite and easy to chew. The amount of toppings were in the perfect ratio. I dare to say it was about as close to a perfect sandwich as it comes.
The food is so good it’s worth driving from town for. I found a new favorite lunch spot.

Wow, I cannot stop raving about the incredible meal I had! It was absolutely sensational! From the first spoonful of the piping hot Hungarian Mushroom soup – the soup of the day – my taste buds were in heaven. And let me tell you about the Blueberry Brie grilled sandwich – it was a flavor explosion! Every bite was bursting with deliciousness, and the kettle chips were the perfect accompaniment. The service was outstanding, with big, friendly smiles that made me feel right at home. The cozy, charming atmosphere was the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. I’m already planning my next visit, and I can’t wait to try something new, although I secretly hope they have that delectable soup on the menu again!

I love their salads and sandwiches. My favorite is their grilled sandwiches. They have yummy coffee and tea as well. It’s a super cute and cozy place to have lunch with a friend. They have some local stuff for purchase for gift ideas. The staff and owner are so friendly and have made this one of my top favorite lunch go-to spots. Parking and table space are limited, but if you go in before or after the normal lunch hour, you can get in and out with no problem. They also do pick up orders. Highly recommend!!!
