Super chill vegan spot! The food was reallllly enjoyable. We had the burrito and avocado toast yesterday morning and wr came back for the same thing! The drinks are all very unique and yummy. Very relaxing and open ambiance. Patio outside was enjoyed by our dogs and others. There’s a little water feature for the dogs to drink out of. Highly recommend

Fast Wi-Fi, good local coffee (from The Coffee Apothecary), great smoothies, and the quinoa veg wrap is out-of-this-world delicious! I’m not vegan, but I would still choose that wrap over one with meat any day.
Nice atmosphere, dog-friendly outdoor space.
I do wish they had espresso drinks. Otherwise no complaints!

Sooooo yummy! I got one of the wraps. I forgot which one but it had quinoa, broccoli, kale, and avocado with this INCREDIBLE sauce. 13/10. Will go back again.

Looking for a relaxed environment that serves amazing food with quality ingredients? This place is just what you are looking for! The prices are fair and the portions are just right! The menu is not your normal go to, which is a huge plus, the mad scientist(s) that cooked up this menu deserves a round of applause 🙂 As a frequent road tripper I appreciate being able to find gems such as this one, totally gives my road trips another exciting element to look forward to!

Really fresh and delicious burrito that was perfect for the meal of the day. White beans, tempeh bacon and more warm crisp bits made me so happy. Great iced coffee and nice folks plus picnic on the lawn tables.

Ordered the Curandera bowl and it was incredible. I could hardly finish it and only managed due to the medley of flavors. Cannot recommend this place enough for a quick lunch.

I think maybe this place has a better vibe in the warm weather but we were there on a cold day and it was uncomfortable. Mushroom coffee tasted like water. The burrito we had was cold and strange and we are long time vegans so it’s not the vegan thing. The avocado toast was not toast. It is a nice open faced sandwich with lots of cucumbers, and really good for summertime. As vegans and native New Mexican we really wanted to love this place. Maybe it was just an off day. We will try again on a warm day.

So amazing! We’ll have to go back many times just to make sure! :). The food is great, the owners are super nice, it’s such a welcome find for us, not a ton of plant-based options around here yet. Wake and Take is our new go-to place. The bowls and burritos are fantastic, and the desserts were outstanding! Thank you guys!

As a local taoseño I can say that the Wake and Take is one of my most favorite spots to grab food. Their amazing menu and flavors paired with a wonderful atmosphere always makes visiting such a treat. I recommend everyone come here! The wrap and the Odin bowl are my favorites but I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed with whatever you decide to get.

My partner and I were in New Mexico for 5 days and this was our last meal before driving back home. We wish we had tried it sooner as it was our favorite meal of the whole trip. Fully vegan menu was what brought us in but the phenomenal food will bring us back anytime we are in the area again. Such great food!
