The Waiting Room is definitely an experience. Inside, it smelled like a porta-potty, which wasn’t exactly welcoming. The bartender was really nice, though, and the drinks were cheap — points for that.
They were blasting metal music so loud you couldn’t hear the person next to you, which kind of killed any chance at conversation. Out on the patio, the weed smell was strong, and the 90-degree heat made the giant penguin statue feel even more bizarre.
That said, I did enjoy the disc golf pins they had to throw around — cool little surprise and a fun touch.
If you’re into gritty dive bars with loud music, cheap booze, and some weird quirks, it might be your thing. Just don’t expect a clean or quiet night out.

This place is a hidden gem and absolutely great. Worth the trip to the strip mall. Bartenders are great. Beer selection and food options are also surprisingly awesome. Pinball and punk rawk for the win.

This place is the most welcoming, warm, full of good people dive bar I have ever been to in my life. Lots of pinball machines, wonderful bartenders and patrons, Dan-o’s pizza if you get hungry. The pinball machines are half the cost. They are anywhere else that I’ve been to. The owners are amazing. And the people are such a great group of people. This place has been my home bar for 4 years and I don’t see that changing. I always feel safe, welcome, and protected when I am in this bar. Highly recommend, especially if you are into pinball and punk rock

My husband and I love going to this small, atmospheric neighborhood bar. If you like old rock music, pinball machines, friendly bartenders, and a relaxed place, you might really enjoy this one. They have reasonable prices and we always have such a good time hanging out there and meeting people or just talking amongst ourselves.

This is an awesome place to grab a drink. Great owners. I got the lowdown on all the local places. 4 Hands on draft. Great little neighborhood bar with nice folks. Easy driving from airport hotels. Only downside is no food other than nachos and frozen pizza but don’t let that stop you.
