My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary across the street at the ac hotel and this was convenient and a literal AMAZING experience. So great we went back three days in a row. The breakfast is authentic and makes your taste buds jump for joy. Everything is cooked right in front of you. And we went back for the pizza at Stellina pizzeria (they are conjoined) and everything was phenomenal. From the staff, the food, the convenience, all 5 stars for sure!

Very fast service and conveniently located accross from AC hotel. Waffles are very good not the ones you need to put garnishes on either. Latte could’ve have been better but this isn’t a coffee shop.

I recently stopped by the waffle shop for breakfast with a close friend. I’ve seen this place being advertised for many years and this is the first time I’ve tried it. They have a pretty straightforward menu. I got the breakfast waffle that came with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and three waffles. Definitely filling. Customer service was great as well. It has a real diner feel inside. Great breakfast spot that I look forward to trying again.

They are using a jug of instant coffee and reheating it with the steamer on the espresso machine for all their coffee drinks. I ordered a black drip coffee and an Americano to test. They poured both out of this same jug, added different amounts of water, and heated it.

We stopped at this little hidden gem for breakfast and it did not disappoint! Had we not been staying at the hotel across the street it would have never been on our radar. The coffee is the best Italian coffee I’ve had in years. The food was amazing and a lot! We will make sure to stop here again the next time we are in DC. Also, the pizza next door (it’s really the same restaurant) is a must try as well!!

This place knocked it out of the park! I was concerned due to the negative reviews about bad service, cold food, and shady pricing, but I love a good breakfast spot so I gave it a shot. They charge an automatic 20% tip, but they were upfront and clearly pointed it out on the bill, so I wasn’t bothered but just be warned! The food was great! We all had either the breakfast or classic waffle, and everyone loved their dish. The service was really the outstanding part. The dude serving us went out of his way to earn that automatic tip! He had great suggestions, checked on us regularly, was friendly, and even brought out samples of their syrups without us asking so we could try them. We were there late morning mid-week and it was mostly empty, so maybe other people have different experiences at different times, but I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely go back!

Waited over an hour for our food, waiter was being cagey and weird about where our food was. Couldn’t seem to tell us how long it was going to take up until it was 5 minutes away. Watched other tables come and go before we even got our food. Put a free pizza in front of us to try and make up for it but we were there for breakfast. Not very apologetic or friendly about it. Very disappointed considering I like their dinner service at other locations
