1st time visiting The Waffle Place last weekend! And it is now officially our Fav restaurant in town!! I ordered the Chilaquiles Divorciados (red & green sauce) with Carne Asada & over easy Eggs. Everything was perfectly cooked!! I was able to choose the heat level of my red sauce and it was exactly what I wanted!! The carne asada was delicious and chilaquiles were crispy not soggy!! Again, cooked to perfection! And by the way, OJ was freshly squeezed!!
My husband had the Spicy Chorizo omelette and he said it was delicious with a side of crispy hash browns just as he likes it! We also ordered the bacon waffle on the side to try. I don’t care for waffles personally or bacon but this one had a great flavor!
Our server, OMAR, was attentive and very kind even though they were extremely busy!! He told us a bit about the restaurant and how they strive to serve fresh food, fresh salsas, etc. We definitely could tell he was right.
They were extremely busy but we showed up at noon on a Saturday. Even with a full restaurant, we only waited 20min. Host was super friendly as well as the other servers. Highly recommend The Waffle PLACE on Cedar & Herndon, Fresno-Ca.

This place was packed and now I know why!! My drink the horchata was perfect!!!! Our chicken and waffles was perfect delicious and worth the price!! Haven’t been here check out the menu I’ve enclosed some photos for you all to check it out!!! A MUST TRY!! Can’t wait to go back!!! My ❤️ said his coffee was strong and good refills were automatically poured!!! I waa impressed we were always checked on!! Never waited too long for anything but the horchata drink and that waa worth the wait because it was delicious perfectly made!!!

Haven’t been here since the new ownership and wow, this place is doing well! I’ve never seen this place be so busy! We came here on Sunday morning. Get here early because you will have to wait once it’s nearing 10am. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Although they were busy, multiple staff members were checking in on us. Food was served quickly. We all really enjoyed our dishes. The chilaquiles divorciados (divorced) had this incredible blend of red and green chile sauce (you have the option of selecting mild or spicy), and come with your choice of carne asada or chicken. The portions were hefty. The sides to our French toast combo were served on a separate plate! We had more than enough food left over. Highly recommend to check this place out. Their menu is expansive, there’s bound to be something for everyone, very family friendly.

Terrible experience.
The restaurant closes at 3:00 PM, but they began aggressively cleaning at 1:45 PM while we were still eating. At that time, they turned off the music, shut off the air conditioning, and even left the fans turned off, making the dining area extremely hot and uncomfortable. I literally had to remove my undershirt and shirt because of the heat.
This was my first time dining here, and instead of enjoying our meal, we felt rushed and pressured the entire time. It was 2:22 PM, still well before closing, yet we were made to feel like we needed to hurry, finish eating, and pay immediately.
To make the experience even more confusing, as we were leaving, the staff was still taking an order from a couple who had just arrived, which made the situation feel very inconsistent and unfair.
I understand that the restaurant closes at 3:00 PM, but customers who are already seated and eating should be respected and allowed to enjoy their food without being rushed. If management does not want to pay overtime, that should not be the customer’s responsibility.
Additionally, when we left, no one said “thank you” or “have a nice day.” While this may not be required, it is basic courtesy and part of good customer service.
Overall, a weird, uncomfortable, and very poor experience. I will not be returning.

Our first time here at the Waffle House and everything was amazing. We came on a Sunday around 10am and waited 10 minutes. It did get busy right after we got seated. There’s a great selection on the menu and when the food came out it was delicious.

I was excited to try this place. Its hard to find decent food. So far it’s the worst food I’ve had in Fresno. I’m mad at myself for wasting my time and money. I ordered avocado toast. They serving it as 1 slice of bread under a bed of wet romaine lettuce like it’s a salad. It’s advertised with spring mix but it’s not served with it there is no lemon in it.This should me served with like a lemon vinegarette dressing instead its served with balsamic. I sent my order back because it had cheese. They remade my order using the same avocado and egg from the one I sent back. I also ordered a half waffle and the fried chicken. The chicken was old and had been refried multiple times. Had absolutely no flavor and was drier than the desert. The waffle was dry, bland had no taste. It wasn’t homemade just some store bought pancake mix they sling in a waffle maker. Then the servebit with some low quality Sysco brand syrup. Waffle shouldn’t be in the restaurant name they take no pride in the waffles or any of there other food for that matter. Picture of the nasty chicken they served are posted. Completely disgusting if you want good food go elsewhere

The gal that seated was completely grumpy. Clearly she didn’t want to be there. We placed our order for drinks and additionally asked for water. The waitress went to put in our drink order. Upon returning five or so minutes later, she took our order, told us they were working on our drinks, and asked if we wanted water…. We told her yes… 10 minutes later she has brought one of our drinks, and still no water. A couple minutes later, she brings the water and tells us they are still working on our other two drinks. Next, the food comes out and I tell the runner we still haven’t received our other two drinks. Ugh…. Several minutes later, the other drinks arrive. Btw…. The brown sugar latte is delicious. The food was fine but not extraordinary given the price point. The waitress avoided us at every chance possible. I had to flag her down for the check. The prices are pretty steep so I don’t foresee us coming back
