Absolutely delicious and worth every penny! My sister and I went for a girl’s night out during restaurant week 2017 and my husband and I will definitely be returning for a date night. Morgan was our waitress and she was amazing. Everyone worked together as a team, it was great. Great atmosphere and experience.

Just had my birthday dinner here. Amazing! Starts off with friendly faces greeting you at the door. You can feel the genuine concern, from all employees, that they make your experience, there, a memorable one.
The service was outstanding, the food is perfectly prepared, the atmosphere, and decor is astonishing. Everyone should experience this restaurant. I love it!

A low key place with a nautical feel. Our waiter was knowledgeable and overall everything was great. We started with the spring rolls, which were amazing. I ordered the sirloin and crab cake. The crab cake was delicious. My wife ordered the fillet. It unfortunately came out mooing, but the waiter quickly took it back to be corrected. The manager followed up with an apology and bought my wife a glass of wine. Overall, the staff is professional and we’ll dine there again!

This is a place that has no idea what it wants to be. The menu is very classy in fine cursive style gold print, the price of the food is something you would expect from a fine restaurant, but it just doesn’t live up to it. Lighting is rather droll. The oyster thing we ordered was nothing to rave about. The incredibly over priced crab cakes were cold in the center and inconsistent. You would expect at least one Virginia labeled wine, and over all I was quite dissatisfied. I did try the sea food mac and cheese out of curiosity, that was decent. However for the location and costumer base we saw walk in, maybe they should revamp the menu and prices toward a more folksy atmosphere like a cracker barrel. I do not recommend

First visit…went during restaurant week…we were a few minutes early for our reservation, had to wait 30 minutes in the bar for a table. We were then seated at the high dining tables with the bar stool chairs….with the lengthy wait times, our stay was long and these were the least comfortable seats ever experienced at a restaurant. We ordered from the restaurant week menu plus added the offered extras. We waited an entire hour between the soup and the meal. The she crab soup was cold and certainly not upscale quality. One item ordered was not brought at all. We waited another 15 minutes after the meal for dessert…and it was way below expectations. The two stars were given for the quality of the filet and the friendliness of the staff. The extreme waiting time and mediocre food outweighed what was good about this evening…what a shame….Suffolk needs more high end dining and Va Co does not make the grade.

This was by far the best dining experience I’ve had in a while! Phenomenal food, fantastic staff and AWESOME drinks. This is definitely the place to go for a wonderfully exquisite dinner! Carrollton will definitely make the map because of this place!

First off, the customer service here was worth 5-stars by itself. Our waitress, Sarah, was cheerful, polite, and put a smile on our faces.
It was my wife and I’s first visit, and we found the atmosphere nice and relaxing. My wife felt under-dressed with us both in jeans and t-shirts, but the host assured us there is no dress code. I didn’t feel out of place myself, but next time I’ll wear a polo shirt instead.
There was no crowd, so we were seated immediately at a one of the curved booths.
We tried a $20 dinner-for-two special that consisted of salmon and/or sirloin with two sides each. Impressive, as each entrée alone was around $24 or so on the regular menu. They give you a small, warm loaf of bread before your meal with a side of maple butter. If you even remotely like maple anything, then you would like this. My only complaint would be that it gave me a craving for French Toast.
The wait for our dinner seemed a bit on the long side, but I figured because it wasn’t very busy they probably had to cook everything fresh – no problem with that whatsoever. The sides to our dinner were AMAZING – my red skin potatoes were seasoned just right, and the asparagus was cooked to perfection. The sirloin came out exactly as ordered (medium-rare) but it was a LITTLE on the tough side. I’ve had more expensive steaks that were much worse, so it’s ALMOST not worth mentioning as the taste was spot on.
Wife’s dinner was a similar story: the mashed potatoes were DELICIOUS, both in flavor and texture, and she loved the creamed corn. I’m not a fan of the stuff, but I have to admit that it wasn’t bad. The sole disappointment was the salmon; it was cooked perfectly and appeared very tasty, but it had almost no flavor to speak of. A little lemon juice and/or some garlic would’ve made it the best of the night, but sadly it just fell flat.
All told; it was a good, filling meal for a decent price. I look forward to trying some of their regular menu items in the future!

Very nice restaurant. Food and service was great. Bar tender is friendly. They need a double entrance so cold air doesn’t blow in every time someone comes in. This dropped them 1 star for me. What’s with the cow ring on the waitress’s nose?
