Vine & Oak Tavern located at 100 South Avenue E, is an upscale restaurant in downtown Cranford that opened on April 25th 2022. We offer a mix of American comfort food with a Mediterranean and Italian twist. Chef Ermelindo Firmani & the Vine and Oak culinary team use the highest quality fresh produce and ingredients to compliment the superior quality of our Prime Beef, Fresh Seafood, sushi and wood-fired pizza. Our wine list is quite extensive and every night we have a variety of specials and cocktails. A visit to Vine & Oak Tavern serves to be more than just a meal, but rather an experience to remember.

I was happy to see a more “fine-dining” establishment come to Cranford. This restaurant is excellent from beginning to end. It’s well decorated without being gaudy, there’s a nice long bar, the service is outstanding and the food is incredible. It’s not a cheap night out, but the product delivers. One definite downside is that the entire restaurant is one large open dining room – and it gets LOUD. Like literally you can’t hear the people at your own table sometimes. Everything else about it is great though.

My fiance’ wanted steak, I wanted to cook her one, but then I figured she would need something to compare it to being new in the country, so we headed to Vine & Oak because of their reputation. They did not disaapoint. Seated quickly (w/res) and greeted with a smile in the same fashion. Staff is very attentive and helpful, also willing to share their favs with you if interested. Everything came out in a timely manner and was Delicious!! Another stellar start for a restaurant. Keep it up!!
