Ordered takeout. Really great food and kind people!! Lentil soup was warm and filling on a cold day. It’s blended FYI. The chicken shawarma dinner was plentiful and I had extras to eat for lunch the next day. Would recommend.

Dined here with a group of 6 on a Friday night about 6:30pm in mid-July 2025.  My sister recommended the spot and it absolutely hit the spot.  The wait time was longer than expected (which was almost problematic because we went there before seeing a show at The Muny), but everything turned out well.
I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich and was surprised by and delighted with the inclusion of pickles, it was so tasty!  The fries were so savory as well, I’m guessing fried in peanut oil.  The serving size of the fries was much larger than expected and could easily be shared between 2 people.  Our group ordered the stuffed grape leaves and several people in our party took a piece of baklava for the road, it was extra nutty and absolutely delicious.
There was plenty of seating and the space was clean.

Good food & very large portions. I took home a lot of leftovers.
You order at the counter, but pay after you eat. A little odd set up, but I would go back for sure.

The Vine is a cozy Mediterranean restaurant. We ordered Baba Ganoush, Hamas, and pita bread for appetizer. Baba Ganoush was exceptionally good. We ordered kabobs. Kabob was good but the pita was cold and bit chewy. Staffs are friendly. Prices are reasonable.

Definitely a must try if you’re into this kind of food. Service was great, and the food was really well prepared.

Outside seating if the weather is good.

Went there was seven other people, and everybody loved their food. Had stuffed grape leaves and they were quite good served with some pickle and pickled vegetables.

Also had a salad with meat on it, which was fresh and very good.

Got lucky finding metered street parking right in front, but you probably won’t be that lucky.

Forgot to take photos when the food was delivered, but it was really well presented. I’ll add food photos if I remember the next time I go.! lol

We recently came in for the first time in quite a while, as we no longer live in the neighborhood, and we were so pleasantly surprised with the interior remodel! The dine-in was much improved from recent years, much more like what it used to be when I first moved to town over 12 years ago. The staff was so kind and friendly. Our 1 year old can sometimes be a little rowdy, but the staff were so friendly to her, and even brought her over a free bite-size pastry for her while we waited for our food. Portions were huge, quality was top notch. Delicious. The quality here had taken an understandable hit in the pandemic and years immediately after, but I was SO glad to see The Vine thriving again—both in experience and food! We will be back!

Decided to take myself out for lunch today & absolutely loved it here. The food is amazing, the workers work so incredibly hard. The cashier was also providing waiter service & (from what i could tell) helping cook. The food came out super hot & fresh & the fries are soo good. I ordered a pineapple mint smoothie, they were out of mint, so he sent someone across the street to go get some! He came back within 3-5 minutes with a dessert to apologize that it wasn’t going to be ready yet & even offered to make me a different drink. I told him not to worry about it & he still made sure to have it made for me! It was so refreshing with the sandwich & fries I got. 10 out of 10

Incredible food, the staff was so unbelievably nice and gave us Hummus at no extra cost. 100% worth the hype!

I’ve eaten there three times and thought I had already left a review, so I didn’t take any new photos. But I highly recommend the falafel and/or the Lebanese Nachos. The interior is lovely and a relaxing place to have a meal and talk. There is a fresh smoothie bar attached and occasionally the blender runs very loudly for some time, but otherwise it’s very nice. There’s also a good-sized patio where you can sit when the weather is nice.

This is one of the best places in the area for authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food! I was so impressed by the portion sizes and everything was so light and fresh. The grape leaves and lemon mint tasted even better than I have had in some places overseas! Will be coming back and can’t wait to try more of the menu! Sofia was an amazing hostess for us, and I am so glad her and her family have shared their amazing food with the STL area. Highly recommend! ❤️
