We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh. It was easy to be served with no wait. It ended up being a little on the expensive side, but for the quality it was worth it. We would definitely come back if ever back in the area. Thank you so much!!

Great spot for supper. Got 4⭐️on food due to a bad cut of meat. Ribs had a fat layer that was everywhere and I didn’t feel like digging around to find the meat:/. Still ate the top layer of meat and the rest of my meal and was quite satisfied:). I came back for a second round a few days later and was not disappointed a bit with my Prime rib that was on special. On point that night. Docked one star for atmosphere only because both times were quite chaotic with tight walkways and a bit noisy…the problem with being busy…so not an awful thing. I’ll be back.

Great service and excellent atmosphere. Lots to look at. Wait staff was fast&friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and portions were very good save one sandwich. Have been here several times and will be back again.

The villager pub was our first stop after we arrived in Charlevoix. We were seated within 20 minutes. The interior is tight and the place was quite busy when we stopped in for dinner. The servers were running around yet were attentive to our table despite the dinner rush. We got our food within 25-30 minutes of being seated. The cod dinner was delicious, cole slaw was on the sweeter side and the tartar sauce complimented the fish well. Husband was content with his Reuben sandwich and chips, rating them a 4/5 stars.

Don’t wait until the end of your vacation to visit The Villager Pub. You will love the atmosphere, the service, and the food. This visit was my first and we decided to try the Olive Burgers. I had the onion rings. When our plates came, our wonderful, cheerful, wise souled server said “I brought you extra napkins.” I didn’t know why until I surveyed the burger. I am glad I added the extra bacon. That made it even _more_ extravagant.

If you have not been here, take the time and visit. You will enjoy it. I will be back.

Service was wonderful and nice diner like atmosphere. Food not the best quality but will fill the spot. I got the chicken tenders and the tenders were lukewarm and like they’d been frozen. My boyfriend got the villager burger and it was season less.

Short summary: excellent bartender/staff (Camryn) who took my food order as well as made a 10/10 Long Island cocktail. The food I will not necessarily remember, but the service I will!

Longer version: I dined alone and was lucky to grab a single seat at the bar with no wait (other groups were waiting for tables). I ordered the blackened whitefish on regular white bun and subbed French fries for chips for a $2 upcharge.

The whitefish sandwich tasted fine. In hindsight, I would have changed the regular thin white hamburger bun for an onion or pretzel bun. The sandwich was not very filling. The fries were crispy outside, soft inside – cooked perfectly. I added a lot of table salt to them. The food was good, I just wish it had been most robust / substantial in terms of amount.

The Long Island cocktail that Camryn made for me was EXCELLENT, absolute perfection! Sometimes it is awkward dining alone but she (and a few others of the women staff) made my experience wonderful! Camryn and other women staff were working very fast, multi-tasking to the extreme, and providing excellent customer service simultaneously.

Parking downtown is free on Sundays (I am not sure if this is all day Sundays, or after a certain time on Sundays).

We enjoyed eating here for a quick bite. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere with an extensive menu of comfort/pub food. The burgers and fries were delicious and the serving size of appetizers was appreciated – the jalapeño poppers, fried zucchini, and wings were great! Service was extremely quick and our server was attentive.

Best fish sandwhich I’ve had in a long time. It was served hot and crispy, not dripping in grease like a lot of fried fish. Sweet potato fries were WAY better than the original fries, which were pretty blah. This inside is pretty dark, so we opted to sit outside even though it was cold.
