Great mom & pop place to eat. Love to be treated like family? This is the place for you. The menu is extensive for such a localized restaurant.

Nestled right in Upper Sandusky one of a kind old school diner vibe and done just right. This place turns back the hands of time and does not disappoint. I feel like a movie should be shot in this place. First off this is a home town type of restaurant that really cares. The staff are super nice. And loved how comfy and homey it felt. Awesome they have a bar and swivel stools to sit at also. The pie selection is right in your view in the middle of the room. And their pies are delicious I had Cherry and tge crust was old school delicious. I also ordered the veggie combo basket and man you get a crazy amount of onion rings, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms and your choice of dipping sauce. They hand dip tge veggies. It will be like nothing you have had before very hearty. The breading is like a thicker beer batter is the best way to describe it. I followed this up with I hope I am remembering this correct The Hometown burger. It was delicious with cheese and all the cold veggies on the side such as Tomato, onion, lettuce and pickle and I feel like they were all fresh cut. It was scrumdiddlyumptious. The person I was with had a old school style shredded chicken sandwich on a toasted bun and tge grilled the shredded chicken almost like a patty putting a light crisp on it. So on point. They do not do breakfast but if they ever did I sure it would be stellar. Go here if you miss that downtime feeling. Go here if you enjoyed watching Pulp Fiction the diner scene it has that coolness to it. Just go here you will not be disappointed. If you are then you need to re evaluate your life choices.

First time eating in here in years. Went with the shrimp dinner, came with two sides, got the seasoned curly fries and salad with blue cheese. The salad was unfortunately small. Although the blue cheese dressing was good. The shrimp portion was fair. The amount of fries was more than needed. Wish the fry portion was smaller and salad was larger. Our waitress Sue was fantastic, glad to see her back after 25 years.

We had dinner here last night with the family. We’ve never been here before, so it was all new. When you enter, the specials are on a marker board (as well as in dining rooms for your convenience). The initial appearance is a nice warm homey like feeling. Everything seemed clean & tidy. Our server “Alexis” was excellent!!! She was very attentive, never forgetting about us and following through with our requests… & no issues whatsoever.
The food is phenomenal! I had the barbecue ribs (which were boneless & tender). I got the homemade macaroni salad and coleslaw, which were both very delicious!! Others in our party all enjoyed their meals as well. I highly recommend the “Killer Fudge Brownie” (I give 100% on presentation of the desserts as well) being very yummy!! I was impressed by the menu printing and vast selections (not a deal breaker but they don’t serve alcohol). I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return if I’m in the area again. Food was well prepared. I had the liver and onions, mashed potatoes and coke slaw and it was a healthy portion and tasty. Cup of chili was good, too.
