The potato wedges are fantastic. Anymore, even fast food, which is supposed to be cheap, can cost over $10 per person, and don’t get me wrong, I like fast food as much as the next guy, every once and a while. This place has prices based on weight. Food is excellent, the mixed veggies, the ham slices, potato wedges, etc. Also, this is fresh homemade food, for only a bit more than fast food.
The store is awesome, I mean, they have giant packages of hot dogs… *Respect*
I❤️
The fresh gummies are on a whole new level… The mango ones were probably my favorite, now they can only be found in the multi flavor pack, but that’s ok, because all of their gummy bears are good. 100% RECOMMEND…
******ONLY TAKE THE FOOD THAT YOY ARE GOING TO EAT****** You can go back for more… You are paying by weight, so don’t get to much food. Also, tip, if you are eating in at the Cafe, don’t buy large drink, you can get refills, so get a small.
And ALWAYS save room for ice cream
I appreciate your response. But to be clear, I had more mashed potatoes and corn bake with the meatloaf AND Mac & cheese. I believe the cashier weighed the meatloaf and priced it. Then placed the chicken on top as she was talking and weighed it together. Mistakes can happen. The meatloaf container was obviously heavier. At $6.99 a pound it would have weighed approx 3.2857 pounds. I ask you to take your container and fill one small square with mashed potatoes and gravy, the other square with corn bake and 2 thighs. The squares were filled just above the top. Now weigh it…I bet it comes out to about $10 – $11. I was trying to be nice in my review as the food was good. However, this was not my mistake. I wish I would have seen this before leaving…I would have politely asked for it to be weighed again.
Said it was Excellent.
I was surprised it was a Large grocery store. But to the far left end of the Bldg. There is a single glass door with a sign above it marked “Cafe”
Parked, walked in to open booths, tables and sitting.
Turn right and there are two serving islands, take a Large
or smaller container for your selections. I chose the Fried Chicken portions. Scallop potatoes and ham. Mixed
warm veggies. Choice of bottle
beverage in the market area in open cooler. I used their carry tray as I was eating there. They have fountain also by ice cream and check out counter.
You hand your containers to the clerk, she weights them and your price is totalled.
My plate, container was full.
Plus the bottle. Total was $15.00. The food was Excellent . Chicken was moist, crisp, I had 4 Lg pieces to carry out. Scallops and Veggie was excellent. I had a bottle of cold Pepsi. Seating was clean and neat. Finish, trash by door. Place tray in container.
Containers trash. With plastic wear. I asked Customers and Staff for the order of service.
Everyone was very helpful and
I got adjusted to the flow. All the folks were nice. Thanks…p
