Popped in for a quick breakfast and coffee. The prices on their menu are very affordable. The two ladies that greeted me were very polite and made me feel welcome — despite the computer issues (had to restart the system for an update) they were very professional with me.

I had heard about this place and checked out the website. I was too late for breakfast so I saw the option for a Café CheeseBurger. It’s a 6 oz. Angus blend, your choice of Cheese, Green Leaf Lettuce, and Ripe Tomato served on Sesame Challah Bun. I added bacon, ordered it and picked it up to take back to where I was staying. The cafe was cute and nicely laid out. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Well, that was tastiest, perfectly cooked burger I’ve had in a long time. We have tons of gourmet burger places around us (DC metro area) and for the money, this can’t be beat.

Pretty good place for a coffee and a bite to eat. Prices are average, ~$10 for a large sandwich (I got DOUBLE bacon, picture is with DOUBLE bacon). Coffee is better than average and about the price of Starbucks. Plenty of seating and has a shaded patio as well.

This will be my last time eating at the Village Cafe. Was at the cafe at 1:30p on 4/29. Took over 30 minutes to get two sandwiches. The cafe was virtually empty. Six cafe workers (three in front; three working kitchen). The three working the kitchen were on a very long smoking break,.. I checked to see why my food had not shown up after 25 minutes and was told they lost my ticket??? There was only one couple in front of us when we ordered. No remorse, no apology, no refund,.. does any one at this place actually care about their job or showing up to do basic work?! A shame,.. I’ve been going their for the last few years,.. this experience was frustrating enough that I’ll never go back.

Had an early morning appointment nearby. Afterwards I stopped in to get a BLT to go. They told me that was a lunch sandwich and they were in breakfast mode…so no can do. One would think toast and bacon would not be difficult to put together at breakfast time, but I guess not. Won’t be back

I went in for the first time and we were approached with a bad attitude from the start. Three of the workers were laughing at us while we were about to order, acting as if we were a nuisance, yet we just walked in. We were trying to say our order but the girl was not looking at us or listening, so I decided to just leave. I have never left a bad review before or left a restaurant from being treated like this before. Do better.

It was just so so, we thought. Wife had the chicken salad sandwich, not sure what spices were used, but had a strange taste and texture. The Cuban was really tasty with plenty of filling. Other reviews were right, it is very slow and expensive. The young girls that delivered the food were super friendly but the older women at the counter had a scowl on her face the hole time, not friendly at all.
