I have very mixed feelings about this place. Let me say upfront, I want to love it, eating in a viking ship, but in reality have no intentions on returning. Where do I start? The food was salty and although I adore sauces, the seafood seasoning was not the best, even with the many offerings, of which I sampled them all. I don’t care for shrimp with the heads on them, nor eating squid the way they prepared them. My honey didn’t want their bucket of eat by hand seafood, cracking everything open… so he opted for the fried shrimp, mozzarella sticks, and chicken wings which turned out to also be breaded. He commented that all 3 items he ordered were freezer quality and the best thing he had there was the water. ☹ I feel bad because our adult daughter raved about the place and the food, but we just don’t get it.

Visited Vikings on S. Las Vegas Blvd — they now offer an all-you-can-eat option! I’m totally full after three plates. In my opinion, the Baby Spice is the best. Highly recommend checking this place out!

If you’re a fan of seafood, this crab spot is a must-try! The portions are generous, leaving you fully satisfied. The garlic butter sauce is absolutely the best I’ve ever tasted—rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The service is also top-notch, with a friendly and attentive staff that makes you feel right at home. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot that I highly recommend! A little pricey

Ayce doesn’t include crab legs, but that was clear on the menu when we ordered. The Cajun sauce and garlic butter was delicious. My husband loved the Viking sauce. The atmosphere was super fun. Service was a little slow but overall we had a great time and enjoyed the food.

Got seated right away. Menu was confusing cause they didn’t have pricing until the server came and informed us the prices were written on the board by the hostess. I figured it out after. Did all you can eat cause it was the better deal. The food was ok. Liked the atmosphere. Workers were nice. They checked in a few times. Lots of choices, too. It was someplace different to try.

Visiting Viking All-You-Can-Eat Seafood & Boil on Silverado Ranch Road felt initially like stepping into a concept — a dining room shaped like a longboat, promising a theatrical, maritime feast. Visually, the place succeeds: the Viking motif is immersive and novel. Unfortunately, the execution behind the aesthetics is uneven, and the evening settled into a quietly disappointing experience.
Service set the wrong tone from the outset. I arrived dining alone, offered a friendly “Hi, how are you?” and received no answer from the hostess — who was also acting as server. Her expression read more like a scowl than a welcome, and the lack of acknowledgement made what should have been a warm, inviting opening feel brusque and awkward. Whether the floor was busy or understaffed, the effect was the same: an interaction that felt indifferent rather than hospitable.
The food, which should be the restaurant’s raison d’être, was the more consequential letdown. The All-You-Can-Eat seafood boil — advertised as the centerpiece — arrived lukewarm. For a boil, heat and steam are not trivialities; they are central to aroma, texture and the communal, sensory joy of seafood served straight from the pot. The crawfish and crabs lacked that piping-hot, spice-perfumed immediacy, and the seasoning felt muted rather than bold. Accompaniments such as hushpuppies and fries were competent but prosaic: serviceable comfort items that neither redeemed nor elevated the main attraction. I’d also expected more substantial crab portions; instead I received small blue crabs rather than the larger crab legs many patrons anticipate from a “boil”—a mismatch between expectation and reality that further diminished value.
In sum: the concept and décor are strong and memorable, but the fundamentals — a genuinely warm welcome and seafood presented at the correct temperature and scale — need attention. As it stands, Viking on Silverado Ranch reads like a three-star outing: pleasant to look at, but pulled down by service lapses and a lackluster execution of the signature boil. With more consistent front-of-house warmth, hotter, better-sized seafood, and a touch more theatricality to match the setting, this could become the kind of Las Vegas novelty that’s both fun and worthy of recommendation

Most people don’t think of a landlocked state when they think of a place to get good seafood and this restaurant proves why. How does one begin to describe a place that has an “all you can eat” menu where basically everything is an additional charge or limited to one per person? Maybe a good way to describe it would be: “Another gimmicky restaurant lost in the sea of other failed Las Vegas nonsense”. The thing is, I wanted to like this place. The decor was pretty fun, the service was great, and the idea seemed fantastic for any seafood lover like myself… The food however, was a bad joke. For two people, we paid over $120 for seafood that I’m not even sure was cooked all the way through and one tiny bottle of Soju. The menu itself was disappointing by the sheer lack of diversity and imagination. I am still shocked by the fact that I spent so much money at a place which boasts about being “all you can eat” and yet I still left hungry and disappointed. One of the menu items which only allowed one per person, was the blue crab and it was so tiny and devoid of meat that I’m surprised it’s even on their menu. The headless shrimp (which comes at an additional charge) were rubbery and the clams we ordered were somehow barely lukewarm. Believe it or not, the biggest middle finger this overpriced gimmick gave me that evening was the “ice cream” which was served with a brittle, microscopic, plastic spoon and was handed to me in the same single serve cups you would find in a public school cafeteria. If you’ve made it this far in my long-winded review, please take this piece of advice and go to Red Lobster… At least you won’t leave hungry even if you leave disappointed.

I wish I could rate this place a zero let’s start by saying the all you can eat seafood doesn’t include shrimp crab legs or lobster. The food was terrible we ordered the garlic butter build your own bowl in which is only butter and RAW garlic on top. We complained to our waiter that it wasn’t what we thought it was and no one ate any of their food we then asked to speak with a manager in which a guy Mario came out and was so very rude and nasty come to find out he wasn’t even the manager he was the cook the food was $198 and he made us pay for food we didn’t even eat I wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy the food is HORRIBLE and the customer service is even worse

Visited this location last night for the first time and it was a disappointment to say the least. First of all everyone in your party must all order the ayce or from their menu. FYI we looked at their website before visiting and there is no mention of this! Cannot order from both menus. I don’t eat very much but decided to order ayce and take one for the team! Lol. There are two options $49 and $39.
Ordered crab legs, headless shrimp and corn in the Viking sauce medium heat with a side of lemon pepper edamame. Crab was not meaty and the shrimp were rubbery and edamame was cold. Off to a great start! Sauce was ok. Husband got clams, wings, mozzarella sticks, ramen, and some other things. The ramen was the best thing he had. Stepson got a lobster tail, shrimp, ramen and some other things and said the ramen was the best thing also. Boil is served in a bucket and food gets cold fast. I asked for an empty bucket to put shells and was told they do t bring buckets for ayce tables to put shells in table. It was just strange. Like they are just waiting and watching for people not to eat all their food I’m guessing?! We’ve been to many ayce restaurants and have never been required to all order the ayce. Which is fine but should be on their website! Especially for many tourists who look online before visiting. Anyway, overall underwhelmed and will not be back. There are many other ayce in Vegas that taste better for less money!
