What a perfect event spent in the company of great people at the top of the Rocky Mountain Park City ski resort. The sleigh ride was beautiful, especially coming back under the stars. The food was amazing and the service extraordinary! I have dietary restrictions, and the staff was very accommodating. We loved our night at Viking Yurt!

Fantastic dinner experience! Our evening kicked off with a sled ride up the mountain. It’s chilly but dress warm and you’ll be fine under the supplied blankets. Dinner in the cozy yurt was excellent. Well prepared and plated with a fun beverage selection. We’ll be back.

This is a bucket list experience! The staff was exceptional. The only thing possibly better was the atmosphere of the ride and the Yurt. This seems expensive, but it is worth every penny. I have allergies, and the chef was so understandable and made me feel so special.

This place is so cool with beautiful views of the frosted mountain tops. They could serve hot purn juice for all I care. The ambiance is that good. Fortunately, they actually have quite a decent menu. Fancy grilled cheese, hot fresh tomato soup, and a few other options. They even have a great selection of spirits and beers. Also, the cookies are amazing. I’d suggest ordering everything viking style. Cheers! See you at the top

The Viking Yurt is an absolutely unforgettable experience. From start to finish, every moment felt like something out of a dream. The evening began with a sleigh ride up the mountain under a sky full of stars (though I can imagine it would be just as magical with freshly falling snow). As we climbed higher, the twinkling lights of Park City spread out below, creating the most breathtaking view.

What makes this experience truly special is the feeling of stepping into another world. You ride up with a group, which creates a unique sense of community, but it never feels forced. You can engage as much or as little as you want—we met some wonderful people but also had plenty of time to just soak it all in and enjoy the moment. It’s the kind of evening that feels like yours alone, something rare and magical.

Inside, the Viking Yurt was pure hygge—warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making us feel instantly at home. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, with a team that clearly takes pride in creating a perfect experience. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every course was thoughtfully prepared, with rich flavors that perfectly complemented the setting.

It was more than just dinner; it was an experience I’ll never forget. If you’re looking for something truly special in Park City, something you won’t find anywhere else, the Viking Yurt is it. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

I almost forgot, but I had to come back and add this—the piano music and the pianist were beyond words. He played so many recognizable tunes across such a big variety of styles. I truly think there’s something for everyone, and it adds so much to the ambiance. I mean, how many restaurants have live piano music in a yurt? It’s those kinds of details that make this experience truly unforgettable.

Unparalleled dining experience! If you’re looking for a very special night out, this is easily the coolest dining experience in Utah. Get taken up a mountain, enjoy a Viking themed 6 course meal, and make memories you’ll never forget. The food is amazing and each course brings interesting and delicious flavors.

Incredible night. The staff are amazing and the food is fantastic. The experience as a whole is on another level. If you’re going in winter, dress warmer than you think you’ll need to. It was BITTER coming down that mountain.

Can’t say enough good about it!

Just had dinner and it was amazing. The entire experience was beyond our expectations. Probably my favorite part was the Lobster Bisque soup.

One of the best services I had ever have on the state the waitress were always aware of our needs, this is a small place but a big experience, starting with the ride to the restaurant to the top of the mountain, then the food is very tasty, I got a lot of new flavours since this is the first time I have Norwegian food, the atmosphere is very elegant with the piano player and the view that you have from outside the place, but it also has a twist of Viking fun. When you go to the bathroom be aware that is just a hole and be careful of big foot since the bathrooms are outside the Yurt, trivia FAQ this place was visited by the King of Norway during the 2002 Olympics.
