We got married at The View at the beginning of October, and it was absolutely beautiful. The entire staff was attentive and kind, the owner Aki was incredibly helpful and helped to direct the little ones down the aisle ahead of us (they had a momentary distraction by some very cool rocks and he got them back on track!). The food was great, the bartenders were great, the venue was beautiful, and we had an excellent time. Highly recommend.

I got married at The View/Historic Crags Lodge. I have always dreamt of having my wedding in the mountains and The View at Historic Crags Lodge was the perfect location! All of the staff, especially Aki were so helpful and accommodating! The view of the mountains is fantastic and the bar/outdoor space is perfect for a cocktail hour. We had around 70 guests come to our wedding and that was a great amount for the space, although more could have fit. After the cocktail hour we had dinner and dancing in the dining room. The dinning room was clean and had a beautiful view overlooking Estes Park. The food was fantastic and so were the alcoholic beverages. Overall, all of our guests had a great time as did my now husband and I! I would definitely recommend! Such a great location and very affordable!

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a post-elopement dinner at The View. Because I help couples with planning their intimate wedding days, I had reached out to The View early on in my couple’s planning journey to ask about their price range and ability to accommodate my couples’ post-elopement dinner.
From the moment I reached out, I knew I had made a great choice in presenting The View as an option to my couple for their post-elopement celebration. Aki was incredibly responsive and communicative and even generously offered use of the space as a backup option, if inclement weather prevented them from holding their ceremony at Rocky Mountain National Park.
On the day of their elopement, Aki and the staff of The View created such a warm and welcoming environment for my couple and their loved ones. Everyone raved about the food and, having enjoyed dinner myself, I can attest to just how good it was!

We’ve come here every time we visit Estes Park Colorado and have never been disappointed. The Chef is a master of his menu, and the staff truly are second to none. Add the history to this beautiful place and you can’t help but to admire the romantic ambience, and be proud of how the owners have preserved a true gem of the Rockies.

I can’t give this place a full 5 stars just yet. I will update this review after our wedding reception takes place. In the meantime my fiancé and I have chose The View to host our wedding reception. Aki the manager/owner took his time showing us around and really made us feel at home. The venue is located in the Historic Crags Lodge and the “view” is amazing, hence the name of the restaurant! It has so much history and from the Amish made tables & chairs, to the crotched Europeans style valances, all the natural lighting and serene nature the place is so charming with a romantic feel. The famous family recipe 50+ years Old Fashion was delicious, went down too smooth! The cost of hosting a ceremony and reception are very reasonable. I read the reviews of how the food was (have not yet experienced this) but was very pleased with what other patrons had to say about the quality of the food. After having a great visit with Aki and taking account all that The View has to offer we felt comfortable to move forward and lock in our reception. I can’t wait to celebrate our BIG DAY with our family and friends at The View. More to come!

My husband and I recently had our ceremony and reception at the View. We knew we wanted to get married in Estes Park and after touring the venue and meeting with GM, Aki, we knew we had found our dream venue. The View has a breathtaking ceremony space to offer with amazing Mountain View’s and the restaurant serves high quality food. We are foodies and we’re very pleased to offer our guests a delicious dinner buffet! Aki was awesome and easy to work with from start to finish. He was very accommodating and attentive and ensured our day went as smooth as possible. The View is truly a hidden gem in Estes Park and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

Had my wedding at this venue and the owner, took care of our guest! I had a wedding party of 50 and every guest was extremely pleased. The food was amazing and the owner has a homemade old fashion that is out of this world! The view from the balcony is beautiful with mountains and the occasional elk sighting. 10/10 recommended!

We can’t thank Aki and the staff at the View restaurant enough for making our wedding truly unforgettable! Aki’s communication throughout the planning process was friendly and timely. He was always responsive to our questions, and he went above and beyond to help fulfill our requests on food, drink, and decoration. The view from the ceremony site is spectacular, and it could easily fit our 100 guests. The reception site was also incredibly beautiful! The wall of windows filled the space with natural light and provided another great backdrop for pictures. Dinner was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic!

We had the most enchanting wedding experience at The View. My husband and I live in Texas and did not get a chance to visit before our big day but Aki, the owner, was so easy to work with and made wedding planning way less stressful. He did a FaceTime tour with us before booking and was always available via phone or email for any questions we had throughout the planning process. Aki and his staff made our day perfect and truly exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, with every request met promptly and with a genuine smile.
