So delicious the best viet food in copenhagen. I’m with a viet person too and she really liked it.

The tall waiter with glasses was super sweet, and service was quick and efficient!

Had a solo lunch. Bao with roast pork. Bun was store-bought and hard. The roast pork was delicious. Banh cuon with mushroom and pork is decent sauce. Should’ve been a lot spicier. Banh xeo was not authentic but decent. The sauce Nước chấm was ok, but needs to have a lot more chili. The shrimp were 3 tiny shaving of the shrimp were very sweet but needed more! A bit greasy too. Service was good. Others were eating the soups that smelled divine.

AMAZING food and an even lovelier waitress (the thai-swedish one, you know who you are ). we were so impressed with everything, think the chicken at the end of the tapas menu was the best we’ve ever had. 10 stars across the board

I’ve been a customer here for about four years, but honestly, the booking system is still a joke. We booked through R2N and my name wasn’t there again when I arrived. How can this still be happening after all this time? It’s really disappointing. makes you feel like they just don’t care enough to fix it.
That said, our night was saved by the waitress who helped us. Vietnamese girl, you did a brilliant job. Thank you for trying to explain the situation, stay calm, and actually make an effort to seat us even though it was busy and not your fault at all. You handled the situation very well and made us feel taken care of. Appreciate it. Obviously, you do care about maintaining high quality and keeping customers happy. Real credit to you!
Please, fix the booking system.

The food itself has great potential. Unfortunately a very poor service and questionable food choices leave you disappointed.
We had the pho which had an amazing broth, but no sides came with it. The sides, sprouts with herbs and sauce, are an integral part of a good pho. The papaya salad, despite having a great sauce, had more carrots than papaya. It seems that everything is adapted to a western palate that has never tasted a Vietnamese dish.
The service is the cherry on top. We waited hopelessly for a tea that came late and for a free refill that simply never arrived.
Can’t speak about the dessert because we left after waiting too long for someone to ask us about it.
Great potential in the kitchen, but it doesn’t arrive to the table as it could.

While the food tastes really good, we weren’t really happy with the overall service. One of the workers was really helpful but the other forget to deliver our jasmin tea until the end of the service. We didn’t really felt welcomed by the other worker. I ordered the poussin chicken which came out raw but when we asked the worker, I wasn’t offered any replacement or refund but asked to push the raw chicken to the side (as pictured in the photos). I wouldn’t go here again despite amazing flavour combos.

The Vietnamese – A Fresh Take on Vietnamese Tapas in Copenhagen

If you’re in Copenhagen and fancy a memorable meal, The Vietnamese is an absolute gem you can’t miss. They’re bringing something new to the table with a twist on Vietnamese cuisine, combining the flair of fine dining with a Spanish tapas vibe. Imagine: all your favourite Vietnamese flavours, but served as small, beautifully crafted dishes that make the perfect pairing with cocktails or beers. It’s the ultimate spot for a laid-back bite with friends or a date night with a twist.

The food here is just as delicious as it is inventive. From the very first bite, you can tell there’s been real thought put into every dish. The Grilled Oysters with Salted Egg Yolk and Cheese? Pure magic! Rich, a bit daring, and surprisingly addictive. And if you’re craving the classics, their pho is just as warming and full of flavour as you’d hope, capturing that cosy, comforting essence of Vietnamese cooking.

The vibe inside is chic, modern, and refreshingly different from your usual Vietnamese eatery. And here’s a tip: while it’s often quiet at lunchtime, dinner can get busy, so book a table in advance if you’re planning an evening visit.

If you’re looking to spice up your culinary adventure in Copenhagen, The Vietnamese should be right at the top of your list. A fun, delicious, and totally unique experience that’s well worth checking out!

Honestly, by far, the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been gone. It has zero negative point. Excellent food (rich on savors), very well presented, the owner is so gentle and funny! And the best of all was the drink “the Vietnamese”. I tried the non-alcoholic version.
If you’re undecided, don’t think twice and go eat there.

The service and the restaurant itself were great, but I can’t say the same for the food. We ordered the Heartmade menu, but the scallop and its sauce felt like a dish cooked and reheated in the oven, the quail was very small and overcooked so it was difficult to find any meat in it. The spring rolls were nice
Looking at the pictures and the reviews from other customers, it looks like we were unlucky.
