Simple place, nothing fancy but good quality and nice people. Paninis, ice cream and coffee. Had the Italian and a club panini. Did the combo with chips and a drink. Chips are bagged, nice size drink cup and food iced tea. Unlike most Paninis it wasn’t melted together but grill marks on bread and warm inside. I will say they need more bacon in the club but both sandwiches were good. Spent the same amount we did at Wendy’s a few weeks back but much healthier. I would suggest more than three choices of chips. Looked clean both outside, inside, and behind counter.

I first heard of The Victorian Cafe about a year ago and have been wanting to visit for a long time. My dream finally came true yesterday when my friends and I stopped by for dinner on our way back to Ann Arbor from a trip to the UP. The inside of the cafe has just the right amount of warm lighting and is stylishly decorated with various antiques, shaping an environment that makes you feel as if you are living in the Victorian era. The bookshelf in the corner housed many interesting books the read through while relaxing here, reflecting the artistic sense of the owners. The staff here are incredibly friendly and efficient, providing me a pleasant ordering and dining experience. For food, I had a Reuben and a Victorian Club sandwich made with special Alward’s bacon, both of which were delicious with crunchy bread on the outside and juicy meats and vegetables on the inside. To top it off, I had a refreshing blueberry milkshake made with fresh blueberries that complimented my meal.
Overall, The Victorian Cafe is one of the best cafes that I have ever been to in my life. My experience there could almost be described as “magical”, almost as if I went on a trip to Narnia. I will definitely revisit anytime I have an opportunity to do so again.

I highly recommend this place. We stop for ice cream cones. They make homemade waffle cones. I think they’re pricey, but worth it. The staff is excellent about washing their hands after handling money, which is important to me. Money is dirty! Facility is always clean. Workers have always been kind and appear to do their jobs well.

Had some ice cream here with my wife after walking around at Iargo Springs. Service was fast and the coffee and ice cream we got were delicious! The decor is charming and the interior is very open, bright, and unique. I also got to play their piano a bit.
