It was good, but not great. Everything could have used a little more salt. My fries and burger came out pretty much room temperature while my wife’s chicken sandwich was the temperature of the sun. So clearly everything was waiting on her sandwich to be done. But the staff and cocktails were great and the vibe is cool. They just need to be better at timing the food.

Great place for happy hour.

We went there for happy hour and order some bar food. The garlic fry was excellent, crunch at outside and creamy inside. Fried calamari was great too. Chicken wings are very juicy and tender but punch a quick a kick, not for someone can not handle spicy food. Artichoke dip is also spicy, which is kind of surprise for all of us. Not very strong but it kind of build up.

Fried polenta is an interesting experience. It actually tastes like fried grit. It’s a very comforting end dish after a few beers.

The Belgium beer pitch is crispy refreshing. The pitcher is larger than some other pubs. It can pour probably 5 glasses.

Love this place, we’ve been a few times and already planning our next visit, it’s a great place for our whole family to find something we can all enjoy. The food is great and the vibe is fun & relaxed, staff is very attentive and I appreciate the attention to detail in the food preparations and presentations, upscale creative twists on familiar classics. Their Chef team clearly takes pride in their work. Food, beverages and service…all top notch, aaaaaaaand oh ya, there’s bowling upstairs! Great job Victor Tavern, you’re a fantastic addition to the Edmonds downtown collection, we’ll be back soon!

I really like this place. I think it gets marked poorly or its business model but it’s got an easy atmosphere to come and relax. There’s never a long wait. It’s easy to come and sit at a booth and enjoy good food. The bar service is great and the mini bowling upstairs is fantastic. It’s aI really like this place. This place was hard to rate. The atmosphere was nice. Pretty good TV set up for watching sports. Lighting and seats were good. The staff was nice and changed the TV closest to us so we could watch the MLB game.
The service wasn’t super attentive after that.
The food was just good. My burger was kind of dry and maybe over cooked. The wings we ordered were definitely dry and the wing sauce they used was bland. Just a simple hot sauce that wasn’t really spicy hot. (wouldn’t suggest them).
We each had a beer. I had a sour which was good but they ran out so I couldn’t order more.
Would maybe try it once more and see if anything else is good because the inside is nice to look at and seems fun to go to for sports.

My kid loves the burger here and Molly Moons is next door so we go frequently. It is a cool space and good place to watch sports. Service is good, beer is good.

The food is…. not good. The one saving grace was the half chicken and it is now gone. Burgers are just OK, Fish and Chips are bland. Would expect better for the price point.

Ventured in for the first time to try this new offering in Edmonds. Highly recommend happy hour (3pm to close on Sundays) as they have a good selection of draft beers and specialty cocktails at reasonable prices. There is a select group of menu offerings. Sadly, the French Dip Sliders were not available. We tried a couple of the Victor Burgers and from the main menu, the King Salmon. The burgers were tasty with good seasoning and balance of flavors. We thought the fries were a bit plain. The salmon was well prepared, but the asparagus and potatoes seemed bland. The place has a cool modern vibe, the service staff are super friendly, and the volume makes it easy to have a conversation. We’ll be back.

We had a great lunch at The Victor today! Although a bit pricey for lunch, the food was fresh and delicious- perfect for a midday break. Our server, Danielle, was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.

Lots of space and good choices. Good place to come with a group. Fish and chips were good but they needed some salt.

Other folks had sandwiches and such and all was thought to be tasty.

Service was good, beer choices were nothing special you can’t find anywhere else around here.

My partner stopped at Victor Tavern, Edmonds, recently after work. Before leaving, he ordered a mac and cheese to go, as a surprise for me as this is my favorite, and we have ordered this a few times. It is always quite flavorful, creamy, very cheesey, with toasted crumbs on top. In otherwords, the taste was perfection with a presentation to match. Much like the pictures you see in a food magazine. Unfortunately, my mac and cheese was no where near as appealing as I expected: the taste was bland, almost like the flour had not cooked completely, and the chef forgot to add the cheese. No way could I bring myself to eat this.
I phoned the Victor and asked if they had a new chef, and described my disappointing entree that appeared like table scraps. The woman refunded the cost of the entree, which was nice. But the experience of the taste could not be erased.
