My favorite seafood spot in Falmouth. Many seafood joints here are filled with heavily fried items on menu and not necessarily fresh. I love a small plates conceots with seafood as you can mostly guarantee freshness. I tend to run away from big seafood spots as I know the freezer is full.

Here is the spot for seafood lovers. Many clean and fresh items on the menu. I had these lovely mylor shrimps. Its so fresh and delicious.
I detest heavily creamed seafood with basic garlic bread- u that get around in the UK- and that masks the mediocre quality. Thankfully I came here. I had oysters 10/10. Gurnard 10/10. Chowder 10/10 and Mylor shrimp 90/10.

The aesthetic of the interior is not this forceful nautical theme that pretends you are on a ship stranded on some wet rocks.

Every ingredient is intentional. I really appreciate having served the shrimps whole. I Know many people are scared of seafood, but those people love chicken tenders and those people arent found here. I also dont like chicken tender people.

I will come here next week and request a 5L bucket of Mylor shrimp and get my lifetime supply of minerals from the shrimp shells.

The service was cosy and friendly.
I cant speak on the beers as I dont drink it nor have an understanding to say anything about it, but it looks great to me.

Super friendly staff. Relaxed vibe. Absolutely amazing fish dishes. Good craft beer. Was quite busy so if you see a table run in and claim it, it’ll be worth it

10/10 no notes! The food was absolutely delicious, simple menu so not overwhelming with a couple of well thought out wines and drinks to go alongside the dishes. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. You should go!

Wow – what an Experience! I‘m a big Fan of Verdant Beers and Ales so had to visit the Seafood Bar when in Falmouth/Penryn. So my Wife and me ordered some Dishes. They were all exceptionally good (British Seafood Tapas) The Beers don‘t need to be mentionened – Service was super friendly, nice, fast and attentive!

So amazing, went on my own and didn’t feel lonely all night. Well looked after but not fussed over. The food was delicious too, nothing to fault whatsoever. I would highly recommend this place, it really is brilliant. The level of attention to detail is remarkably, very impressive.

One of the best meals I’ve had in my life. Every single dish was incredible. The pollock crudo, fish finger butty, fish tacos, loaded crab fries…and the Kimchi fritters!?! My goodness. A few beers and a sweet, sparkling cider. Delicious. Incredible

Absolutely loved the Verdant Seafood Bar.

We sat down at around 6pm on a Tuesday and it was very quiet at that point but soon filled up.

The vibe/atmosphere is very cozy and intimate, it being a cellar setting.

Service was exceptional and friendly throughout, and the food was just incredible. We had a couple of specials that were great and the soused mackerel on sourdough was outstanding. And whatever you order, you can have lovely Verdant beers alongside.

On the whole, if you have any interest at all in seafood or beer, this place is absolutely a must to visit.

I won’t say anything new to others but just wanted to reiterate that this is a MUST MUST MUST if you’re in Falmouth! Absolutely delicious beers from Verdant brewery (best IPAs we’ve tried to date – and we’ve tried a lot!) and absolutely delicious food! The staff were also really friendly and welcoming and although we had to wait a little bit to get a table the guy there made sure to come out every 5-10 minutes to give us an update on what tables were about to finish. Thanks team! We loved it there!! And hopefully will be back!!

I’ve been to The Verdant Seafood Bar twice now and both times it was delightful.

The service is friendly, relaxed, not rushed. We felt really welcome & looked after.

The food is incredible! The fish finger butty is always brilliant, but most recently I also tried the soused mackerel and it was fantastic. So flavourful and interesting. I can’t wait to come back & try more dishes.

To drink I had a glass of the picpoul and it was lovely. It really complimented the fish.

Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Amazing food but pricy, especially considering the small portions. The place is cozy and service friendly but they could use some proper chairs instead of the small stools with no back support.
The beer is what it’s all about and the ones we tried were good but the food really takes the price.
