Stopped in on Tuesday to watch the wonderful Danjo play; we live over an hour away, and this was definitely worth the trip. My partner and I got a bunch of different things to share, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The cheese curds were gone within minutes, they were perfectly seasoned and tasted like wonderful cheesy little clouds. By the time we plowed through the rest of our food and drinks, we were way too stuffed to try dessert; but that just means we have another reason to come back!
The only reason this is not a full 5 star is because our service was slow but honestly, that could change with our next vist and it was also an “event” night so I can’t really fault them for that.
Definitely worth the trip and look forward to coming back and bringing friends!

Good food, nice atmosphere. Great place for someone that need a Gluten-free menu, they have lots of options almost 98% of their menu is Gluten-free. The Fried mushrooms are awesome, just saying…

Food was pretty good. The prices were reasonable for what you were getting. We all left full.

The menu says Erie Street Kitchen, but it is inside The Venice. I went on a Saturday night at 6:30, and it was pretty busy. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. You order food at a counter and wait for it to be delivered to your table. We had a chicken tender po boy with hushpuppies and a lobster roll with lobster bisque. My friend liked his po boy and when asked if he would order it again he said absolutely. My lobster roll was the best one I’ve ever had. I travel for a living and have had them in many cities on the coast and was shocked to sample one that was so tasty and jammed full of meat this far from an ocean.

I go to the Venice to watch one particular band monthly. Food from Erie Street there is good, but service has changed to self order at the counter and food brought to the table. Servers are not attentive, and paying with cash at the table really throws them.
But I have to say, this place has THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS IN THIS COUNTRY!! They are the metal round seats with metal backs and will definitely hurt your back & butt. I have been taking a pillow to sit on for the past 3 years and it doesn’t help. I frequently tell the manager how bad their chairs are and there have been no changes.
Thankfully it’s a good place to watch the band if you can tolerate 4 hours of pain.

Stoped in this gem today for breakfast at Erie St Kitchen but given its Saturday and game day, there was a bump ordered from Venice Cafe. Beautiful presentation and delightful delivery!

We were surprised when we went here ( I am the youngest in the group at 68), expecting there to be a big college crowd.
It was almost all Seniors!
I had the Lobster Mac bowl, which is about 16 ounces.
The top third is Lobster and the rest is pimento mac and cheese. It was delicious.
My husband had a chicken finger and French Fries basket.
The friend who brought us had the perch fillets and French Fries and Cole slaw, all good.
You need to know, if you’re bringing someone in a wheelchair ( our friend is in an electric wheelchair) that when you open the door to go into the restaurant, there is a fairly steep incline to get into the restaurant.
Two wonderful young men assisted her to get from the bumpy brick road, onto the sidewalk and into the restaurant. God bless them.
