They offer Irani chai, but it doesn’t really taste like authentic Irani chai. You can try it if you don’t have other options.
The ambience is good and the service is fast, which is a plus.
Wada Pav is a better option to try compared to the other snacks.
Overall, it’s an okay place for a quick, budget-friendly snack.
The food was amazing, especially the Vada Pav so fresh and tasty.
A special shoutout to Harika at the front she was so sweet, helpful, and gave us all the information we needed. The whole team was quick and super kind.
Definitely going back again!
1. For lunch we had a South Indian thali and North Indian thali
The North Indian thali was very good.
The spinach dal and paneer curry was really good.
The thali cost 9.99$.
2. The breakfast buffet items tasted good but some items(idiyappam) arrived only at 10am.
Even plain dosa, juice were kept only at 9:30am.
So we did not get a chance to taste all items.
It would be good if they have all items by 9am at least.
The buffet cost 11.99$.
Forgot to mention other customer dining throwed entire order of pakora Infront of me, since I already ordered it I have to take it. After coming home I understood why he did that.
With this kind of quality please don’t expect repeat customers like me.
Food: Quality of food is exceptional, everything tasted great. Masala dosa was a joke, burnt and barely any masala!
Service: This needs lot of work, I would think of this as a growing pains if it was a fairly new restaurant, but they have been open for a good 6 months.
Lunch buffet was supposed to start at 11:30, buffet stations were not filled till almost 11:40, we were asked to wait but people who came in before us were already eating food. Cheese pizza was ready by the time we were with our lunch.
Hygiene: I would give zero if this rating is purely based on hygiene. People were going back to buffet station with same plates and dirty hands. They do not enforce, clean plates.
For a ‘fine dining’ this place has missed the point.
I will not be going back to this place, unless this policy changes.
Strongly recommend this place as it is well suited for Vegetarians.
Food order:
Mylapore tiffin combo- waiter came back and cancelled after 10 min of placing order saying it’s not fully available.
Samosa chat- no issues. Literally this is the only dish served little bit of hunger for 3 of us.
Pav bhaji – Can’t even handle triple spice levels of bhaji.
Veg burger – fries that came with are undercooked and no salt.
Madurai bun parota – Under cooked lump of dough rather calling it a parota.
Environment : Felt drain smell upon entering the restaurant lobby, No music, TV is not working it seems and too many mosquitoes under the booth table.
Very cozy ambiance.
