The Vault is a beautifully decorated space inside an old bank building. We went early Sunday for the brunch buffet ($50 pp) and they had a nice variety of breakfast and lunch items as well as a large fruit and dessert room/display. A DJ was playing nice music and place filled up quickly. The okra gumbo, shrimp & grits and buttery biscuits stood out.
The negative part of our experience was that the prime rib was only served medium well. Our family mainly eats medium rare so we were unable to enjoy one of the best parts of their brunch offerings.

The Vault NOLA is a uniquely charming New Orleans restaurant and event space that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in historic Algiers Point. Housed in a beautifully restored old bank building, it blends elegant ambiance with contemporary Creole-inspired cuisine — a combination that makes dining here feel a bit elevated yet still warm and welcoming.

The interior is one of the first things you notice: high ceilings, tasteful décor, and yes—you can even see the original bank vault, which gives the place character and a fun photo moment. The menu leans toward upscale New Orleans fare with dishes that blend traditional flavors with thoughtful presentation, and the Sunday brunch buffet is a highlight for many locals and visitors alike.

What I like most about The Vault is how it strikes a balance between fine dining and relaxed comfort — it’s great for a special meal, a brunch with friends, or even a celebration. The service generally feels attentive, and the overall vibe is both classy and enjoyable without being pretentious. ️

In short, if you’re looking for a memorable New Orleans meal with elegance, good food, and a bit of historic flair, The Vault NOLA is definitely worth checking out.

My family chose this restaurant for the experience and to support a place managed by our own community. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.

The breakfast buffet was horrible. Nearly everything tasted overly salted, as if salt was the only seasoning used. The quality of the food did not match the expectations we had at all.

The service was just as frustrating. It took our waiter over an hour — no exaggeration — to bring our drinks. Although the restaurant was fairly busy, he only had a few tables. We were never given basic items like straws or napkins, and I eventually had to get up and find them myself. I ordered mimosas and tried to be patient, even attempting to get them on my own, but the waiter insisted he would bring them. Thirty minutes later, we still didn’t have our drinks.

When we received our bill — over $200 for a 3 party table — we were shocked considering the poor quality of both the food and service. An automatic 18% gratuity was included, which did not feel deserved based on our experience. We were told that we would get some things comped due to the service but the items were still on the ticket. Manager apologized, but only after we paid for our items.

The only positive part of the visit was the pictures I was able to take. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

Cool spot, but we should have checked out the description and other reviews first. The DJ was great with an awesome system, but we didn’t expect it to be like a wedding reception for Sunday brunch. Very loud.
The food was amazing!! Best mac and cheese ever! Huge salad spread and an insane amount of desserts.
Happy to have gone, but not our vibe. We wish them all the success as everyone was very friendly and thanked us for coming.

Took my husband here for Birthday Brunch.
Very clean but a nice buffet set up. Food was delicious. Seasond perfectly. Taste like home cooked food. Not restaurant style bland food. True New Orleans Home cooked food. Gumbo was delicious , red beans and rice delicious. The bread pudding was the only homemade dessert and it was good. The other desserts were from a supplier but still great choices . Would have liked to see a cobbler or banana pudding. If you want true New Orleans food this place.
It was worth the price.
They were short staffed so the omelette, carving and waffle station was a little slow but the one worker was friendly and did a great job.

My only complaint is that a regular drink tea and coffee was not included in the price.

There was a Singing DJ who gave a little show which was a nice surprise.
Would definitely go again.

I had a wonderful time at the vault. It is the perfect place for a party or an event. The decor is so gorgeous and inviting for an evening of fun. The service was excellent. The food was so delicious. I ate too much to name. The price was on point. The area for photos was an genius idea.

Gorgeous venue – classy but not stuffy. The food was delicious! We went for brunch and everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff was really nice, helpful, and professional. Music was very fitting for a Sunday brunch. We got a tour of the place and the private area upstairs was amazing! 10/10 – I can’t wait to visit again – maybe even next weekend!

The restaurant is beautifully designed. The hosts are very welcoming. Dinner and music are always a plus. The DJ was very entertaining. We ordered the fish bites which were well seasoned. I wish there were more. Also, the choice of drinks were well made. I liked the names given. I had the Credit Crush. It’s a great place to be with friends or date night.
