I love the Vault! I love the outdoor garden and the steakhouse. The NYE prix fixe meal was good. The service was exceptional. My only complaint is that we were served an entree that was to be shared but we were not given serving plates. We were hungry so we ate and I joked with the waiter that I enjoyed being primitive. Also I ordered a port wine for dessert and it was forgotten about. I mainly go to the vault for amazing ambiance and great cocktails and I’m excited to visit again.

A but on the pricier side, but the service from the staff was wonderful. The aesthetic of The Vault Garden is nice too, with a great outdoor/ indoor seating with a beautiful view. Decorated nicely and the food came out hot and well seasoned at a reasonable time.

I was there for the annual lobster feast on August 26. Expensive – $125. But very good. My only complaint is for the chips at the beginning of dinner. Not crispy and dip tasted like thousand island dressing. Well, you should not fill up on those anyways.

We were lucky enough to get to taste the new Spring menu. Beautiful presentations. Flavors of both food and drinks were interesting. We made reservations but honestly probably not needed. There were barely any people there for dinner. Lighting was pretty dim not great for pictures. It was very chilly in their outdoor seating even with the heaters surrounding us. Good place for tapas.

Had a reservation and went in for a brunch. Very cute holiday decor with heaters all around to keep you warm. The service was pretty good. Their holiday drink was tasty (I had the noche buena). The food was alright. Would I come back here again? Probably just for the aesthetics and drinks.

A great birthday dinner! Good for groups. Very kind service. Cocktails were delicious including the off menu sazerac. The tomahawk really made the ribeye look sad but both were cooked as requested and delicious. The tots had a good crisp on the outside and soft inside with an appropriate amount of caviar. Mac and cheese was excellent. Fried rice was great. Could maybe have done without the mushrooms. Desserts were okay but we were so full at that point.

The Vault Garden has a nice location atop the steps of 555 California on the building terrace. It has a nice atmosphere with the bar, and tables dotted around with foliage and flame heat lamps. The menu is limited, but offers an assortment of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes. We tried the halibut and strip steak, asking with the Wagyu fried rice, shishito peppers and parker rolls. Everything was good, including the signature cocktails — no complaints about preparation, but nothing wowed us either. Service was a bit mixed, sometimes attentive, sometimes aloof. Overall a safe bet for a decent meal in a nice environment, but certainly not on my must-go list.

Food was great. Some dishes stood out: the vegetables section were surprisingly tasty given that I don’t usually find the vegetable dishes very interesting. Both the spring peas and baby carrot dishes were delicious. The duck main was wonderful and has a nice crispy skin. Desserts again stood out. Not a chocolate dessert eater but their chocolate mousse(?) with honey drizzle was wonderful. And the Yuzu dome (like a semi freddo with a jam filling) was so good. Some dishes were on the saltier side but i don’t mind that. If you like your dishes more mild, perhaps make that known to your friendly waiter.

Had a wonderful time going for drinks with co-workers and my CEO. The staff was very friendly, they safely stored our bags for us so we did not have our bulky work bags on us. The drinks kept flowing quickly and were quite tasty. They were always attentive to us and kept checking in to ensure that we were doing well. The place was quite cute with ambient lighting and quiet atmosphere ( well apart from our laughter). This is definitely a place I would re-visit. Did not eat anything besides fries, so next time I will definitely explore the menu better.
