The Vault is nothing short of AMAZING!!! I went on a virtual date for my birthday because my boyfriend couldn’t be there with me. I dined alone inside the actual “vault” (which is an old bank vault), but he was there virtually on DUO! The staff is super friendly and very attentive! This was my second time eating there inside the vault and it was equally amazing the first time. I definitely recommend this restaurant when visiting Bluefield, WV!

My family and I gathered at the Vault on the Saturday of Easter weekend for a meal. Simply put the service was amazing and the food was perfectly prepared. Having grown up in the area it is great to have place to return to and properly dine. Everyone in our party remarked at how much fun they had. Truly excellent meal. Just passing through and stopped in Bluefield for the night. The Vault Downtown restaurant was the most pleasant surprise of the trip. The French onion soup had lots of gruyere cheese and onions. We also loved the trout and crab cakes. Bread and icecream are homemade. There were numerous signatures cocktails and an extensive wine list. Servers were very friendly. We will definitely eat here again next time we pass by the area.

Everything was excellent. The building is beautiful, history’s abundant, the food is incredible, bar is well-chosen, and the staff will spoil your future dining expectations with world class service. The atmosphere is amazing. It feels like you are dining in a big city somewhere far away, not in southern West Virginia. The staff was super nice and attentive. However the food portions were miniscule and more about “presentation”. I left STARVING. I’m not a big gal by any means (about 115 lbs) and I could have eaten 4 of these dinners easy. I ordered an appetizer of shrimp cocktail and dinner was grilled fish and asparagus.
