Went to the varisty club on sunday for the browns game and our server was amazing! We asked if they were serving any fun Christmas drinks yet and they came up with something for us! He even gave one for free for a birthday! We all tried the french onion soup and it was very good! We will definitely be back.

Ate dinner and had some drinks here while on a work trip. Nowhere else was open, and I’m glad. The food was great (homemade wing sauce and fry seasoning was a chefs kiss) and the drinks weren’t expensive. Must stop in Youngstown.

My wife and I stopped in before a concert. Our waiter was awesome and very helpful with the menu. We were curious about the burger with peanut butter and jelly with bacon bits. He recommended it so that’s what we ordered. It was weird but very good. The homemade chips were really good as well. We definitely stop in again if in the area.

Wanted to do something different for my wedding rehearsal dinner, and wow this was 100/100 A+++. The owner John was so accommodating and our families and bridal party loved it. The party room was perfect for our group of 35 people with access to the amazing patio. The food was beyond perfect. Everyone in my family is still talking about it months later (the Mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes are a must have), the catering and service for a private party were beyond what we could have asked for. My whole theme / style was “A Youngstown Wedding” and it was important for me to support the city, specifically downtown and I’d would do it again in a heart beat, this place fit perfectly. Great restaurant and tavern with plenty of seating for small to large groups. Families with kids are welcome as they offer a great kids menu.
Food is amazing and they have plenty of options for any appetite. Definitely recommend the VC Pretzel and Jalapeño Poppers. Sandwiches were amazing and a great size too.
Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu and signature cocktails.

Beautiful space, delicious food, great bartenders. There was a wait for a table, but a few open seats at the bar.

This place does it right, part of the few that do. My family and I were in from out of town for a local event. Talked to a gentleman on my way out and told him how great this spot is. He graciously thanked me and told me he would let “Rudy” know. Well Rudy, your staff was all happy to be there, greeted guests promptly and seemed like great people.
