We live here in town and haven’t tried this place yet and I was excited to finally try it with my sisters. We came in and sat down right away. Waited about 10 minutes for menus. We waited another 20 minutes for drink orders which were taken at the same time as our food order.
After 45 minutes of being here we got our food… all of it unfortunately ice cold.
My sausage gravy and biscuits were ok. They were edible but not delicious. The stuffed French toast with apples was actually amazing. My hash browns were so well done they were like trying to eat straw.
My sister had French toast and bacon. Nothing out of the ordinary about it- but ice cold.
My other sister had an omelet and it was dry and over stuffed… barely any egg. Her pancake was so dry it was inedible.
We were never asked how our food was. We weren’t offered refills on drinks and we had to go to and beg for our check.
Honestly I don’t know if I will try this place again…. Very disappointed.

I walked here for lunch today, not many people at the restaurant. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly waitress. Took them less than 10 minutes to pay and get my food (to go). The sandwich was good but a little oily/greasy. Perfect amount of cheese though, loved how melty it was. The sandwich came with a side, i chose Cole slaw and i do not recommend it, no flavor. This meal was $9 which is sorta pricey but it’s location is convenient. Their desserts looked and are fabulous, too.

I ordered via over the phone. My food was just completely thrown in the container and not placed collectively at all. The employee on the phone was very abrupt. Did not enjoy.

High quality food and great family business. I ordered a corned beef hash omelette burrito — it was fantastic. My wife had eggs Benedict and said it was the best she’s ever had

I usually don’t leave comments, this one time I had to comment. Driving by Whitinsville center I stopped for lunch at The Valley Cafe. I was surprised at the large menu. Looking for something healthy I ordered a California Panini on sour dough bread. Besides choice of bread it came with a choice of 7 sides. The California panini included turkey, bacon, tomato, mozzarella, and guacamole. The turkey was not processed, it was real homecooked turkey, the bacon was cooked well done, fat was trimmed off, all ingredients were fresh. This was the best lunch I have had in a very long time. I was told all of their meat is home cooked in their kitchen, no processed turkey, chicken, beef or ham. That alone is reason to visit The Valley cafe.

This was our first visit to Valley Cafe. We enjoyed our veggie wrap, ranchero sandwich, the atmosphere, and our server. We couldn’t believe the number and variety of menu items. We’ll go back and try some other options soon!

I walked into this place and was overwhelmed with the walls lined with chalk boards listing tons and tons of “specials” so many that it was overwhelming. Then we were greeted by the meanest older woman. She seemed irritated that we were there. When I said I had never been there her response was “well we’ve been here for 13 years” then she handed us a menu to look at. When we stated we would like to have a seat at a table and eat she ripped the menus out of our hands and stated “this is my menu, I’ll give you a different one at the table” by the way the menus at the table were exactly the same. When we started to order she was annoyed that we didn’t know what the sides were. Then became annoyed that we asked what types of muffins she had, she pointed to the case and stated “they are all right there!”. We regretted walking into this place even before we received our food but at that point we had ordered so we figured we’d try it. After giving us our food this woman continued to stop by at tell us “isn’t the coffee good?”, “isn’t the chili good? I’ve won awards” it was extremely awkward. To be honest the food wasn’t terrible but also not wonderful. The place was completely empty and I now know why.

4 stars for the food, but 1 star for the service. The food is decent, and the prices are good. However, the waitress who is usually there (one of the owners?) Is pretty terrible. She’s always short with us whenever we go, kind of rude and always makes it seem like waiting on us is such an inconvenience. We still go because it’s walking distance for us, but her attitude really takes away from the experience.
