This place was suggested to me the other day. The ones who suggested it were over the top happy with their experience here, so we had to try it.
Nice setting in the restaurant, very comfy.
I started with the French onion soup, which came in an after dinner coffee cup. It wasn’t your standard with cheese melted in to, it was a lot less cheese and a small piece of bread with some cheese on it. The flavor was quite good, but I think $9 was a little steep for it coffee cup. The Mrs opted for the bacala al forno (fish & potato soup, with olives and capers – delicious.
We split the pecorino and honey crossing app, very tasty. Could/should have come with one additional crostini.
My main was the vodka sauce and sausage pasta (orecchiette, not the bucatini as told). Super tasty and a good size portion, would order again! Thought about the tasting menu, but was good the portions were quite a bit smaller. Glad I skipped the taster.
The Mrs opted for the halibut over seafood risotto. Excellent and enough of a potion some came home.
Several craft beers available, wine was abundant. Skipped dessert, not enough room.
Had reached out before going due to reservations only for 4+, we are only two and were traveling a bit to get there. They were very prompt and accommodating regarding making sure we got a seat and served!! High marks for that!!
Would repeat. Need to try the pizza some day. Kind of a trek for kinda pricy pizza.

We came here for the first time earlier in the month. We had reservations set for 7pm. We did have to wait a little for the table to be ready but once we were seated, the service was incredible. Food was served quickly, hot and fresh. The whipped feta with pita was delish and the pasta you can tell it’s made with the best ingredients. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back here.

***Food Mood Note: they only carry wine and beer for alcohol.

I have tried both the Tuscan chicken and the vodka sauce of course with their freshly made pasta and they are both so delicious! I preferred the vodka sauce. I will definitely be coming back here to try more. Don’t forget cash for a tip, as they do not allow you to tip on a card.

Adorable setting, though it looks like it can get cramped during busy hours. They were smart to use mirrors to open up the space.
Tuscan shrimp was extremely flavorful. Perfectly cooked, good portion size.
Waiter asked if I needed any cheese or pepper and I didn’t… and if you have ever been to an Italian restaurant with me, you know I unscrew the cap on the parmesean shaker to load it on.
Creme brulee was really good as well, not too sweet. The cappuccino was one of the best I have ever had.
The only downside is cash only tips. Had I known, I would have grabbed cash to avoid ATM fees, but I should be tipping in cash anyways, just guilty of being a creature of habit relying on my card.
All in all, a great place to stop in!

A nice little place that’s off the beaten path. My girlfriend and I decided to check it out for a nice change of pace. The food was good(I had the short rib), but what I ordered didn’t really stand out to me. After having a beer and talking with the patrons at the bar, I noticed the pizza is a fan favorite. They’re also well known for their homemade pasta, but that’s not really a thing for me when I eat out. Service was very good and we both felt taken care of. We may have to come back another time and try some of that pizza

One of our go-to spots! The food is always amazing and the quality of the fresh ingredients is so apparent in each dish. Service is always great, and we always leave very happy and full! We also enjoy takeout every once in a while as well. We love even more that they are women / chef owned.

Love this spot when I’m on this side of the state. Always good food, love sitting outside and enjoying company. Possibly had someone new serving, a bit slow, but I had to ask for utensils then napkins once the food came. No water was ever served. However I was in no rush and the food and atmosphere was great

I wanted very much to give a higher review but some pros and cons!

Pros; the atmosphere was awesome. Very home-style vibes, very cozy and comfy, the outside dining was cute (it was raining of course so we had to sit inside), and the staff was very friendly and attentive!

Cons;
– where we were seated (not pictured) felt very secluded in not a good way… It was behind a divider near one of their doors. It just felt kind of lonely and a weird spot. Kind of like the “back spot away from everyone else”

-The food was decent, however, my husband had the NY strip & while the flavor was good it was very inconsistent in temp. Some parts were well-done, some medium, some rare. He also ordered the bone marrow & parsley salad as a side. It had much too many onions and the bone marrow he received had barely to no bone marrow in it (which he was looking forward to trying, so that was disappointing.)

– I ordered the mushroom ravioli, which was okay in flavor, however, 3 bites in, I had found a hair [which was not mine] (BUT – mind you; as a woman who sheds hair from her head all day long. I get it, it happens unfortunately) I kindly let the waitress know I had found a hair in my food. She was very kind and took the meal back. She felt so badly and offered a different dinner. I kindly declined but I did want to try their dessert so I opted for that.

Our waitress was extremely kind, very easy going & very caring and just over all great vibes! She comped our appetizer, took off the ravioli and comped my dessert which was very kind of her!

All in all, the staff was nice, and the appetizer and dessert were delish, but our dinner left us wanting more (the few bites of mine) – I also ordered a very good mocktail!

Overall, cute place. My husband and I aren’t from the area (stopped by on the way back from a Rhode Island trip) so I don’t know if I’d return. But a very cool place to try.

Haddock chowder was amazing and gluten free! Service is amazing team effort. Pizza was delicious. Space is cozy so kids must stay seated. Bring something to keep them busy.

We arrived when the restaurant opened but ended up waiting almost 2 hrs for our food. Tables around us were leaving before we even got our food. Not sure what the issue was. First time there. Will not rush back. Our pizzas were cold and pasta was warm. Waitstaff was sweet though.
