We embrace classic and traditional drinking. We believe in great spirits shared amongst friends and neighbors. At the bar, whiskey and beer are featured prominently, but we carry great spirits in every category. We offer many whiskeys and craft beers from local breweries and distilleries. Knowledgeable, unpretentious, engaging and fun bartenders are vital to us. Our staff can capably walk guests through our menu offerings or simply make someone stopping in for a drink and a beer feel at home and among friends.

Very similar decor, similar menu and seems to me to be more open and spacious. We were seated immediately and our server was Jason. Excellent service and really attentive. Jason really is a top notch waiter. He kept checking in with us and making sure we were good to go. As a bonus, he joined Hepcat Hoodie later for a song. Fantastic! For dinner, we ordered the lodge quesadilla, margarita flatbread, burger, and steak salad. All were very good, but I think the lodge quesadilla is my favorite. Large portions, and full of flavor. A bottle of Pinot Noir to complete the meal. Shockingly, no dessert for me tonight!
Large parking lot out front, but was surprisingly crowded. Clean restrooms! Restaurant seating, bar seating and outdoor seating are available. Outdoor seating was closed this evening.
Overall a great night. We will be back!
This place captured my heart from the moment I stepped inside. You can tell that every single detail has been carefully thought out. Right at the entrance, you are greeted by two stunningly beautiful deer, and as you walk further in, you encounter majestic bears and wolves. It truly feels like stepping into a high-end, modern fairy tale! The interior is incredibly stylish and sophisticated.
The atmosphere is calm and inviting—perfect for a relaxed dinner. I tried the crab cakes with vegetables, and they were absolutely delicious; the presentation was top-notch. I was also lucky enough to catch a mini-concert with live music, which added a special touch of magic to the evening.
This is a versatile gem: it’s just as perfect for a family gathering or a night out with friends as it is for a business meeting. This is officially my new favorite spot! I will definitely be back.♥️
I am glad that Urbana finally has a decent place to eat and grab a drink.
Will definitely come back soon! 🙂
We had dinner on a Saturday after hearing the restaurant was new and still ironing things out. There were three of us. When ordering drinks, our server mentioned half-price wine and offered a sample. We liked it and ordered the bottle, but she returned with the half-price wine menu showing that exact bottle listed at $15 and said it was out of stock. She added that we could order it by the glass for $8. We declined and ordered the Bonanza Cabernet instead—until she came back again to say that was also unavailable and suggested a Malbec instead, saying it was “very similar to a Cabernet,” which isn’t quite accurate.
It took 48 minutes from when we sat down until our drinks (wine and tea) arrived. Chips came out shortly afterward, and food followed soon after that.
I’m gluten free and let the server know. When the plates were delivered, mine was carried on top of someone else’s, and several breaded fries ended up on my gluten-free bun. I won’t get sick from cross-contact, but someone with celiac disease would.
The good:
• Complimentary chips were great.
• Burgers were good and cooked medium well as ordered.
Needs improvement:
• Nearly 50 minutes to receive drinks.
• Several menu items, including two wines, were out of stock.
• Staff seemed unsure about wine substitutions and basic menu knowledge.
• Service felt distracted—our bottle was paused mid-opening to train another staff member.
• The server had to return multiple times to confirm parts of our order.
• Gluten-free handling wasn’t careful.
It felt like a team that is still learning—possibly understaffed, undertrained, or both. The food was solid, and I think this place has potential, but better training, allergen awareness, and smoother service would make a big difference. I’d give it some time before returning.
Our server, Haley, was attentive and engaging, and helped make the occasion extra special with dessert and pyrotechnic candles. lol!
