The restaurant decor is very modern, rustic, and vintage; love how it is all mixed . The service was friendly and attentive. The menu options all sounded great, and since I love trying new flavors I selected an appetizer and some pasta with pesto sauce which also came with a salad, and O-M-G, it was delicious; the pasta is freshly made and the flavor was just perfect.

Great food! Wonderful service! Everything is made fresh. Even the salad dressings. This also includes all Breads. And pastas.

Great place for locally-sourced food that feels like it would be at home in a much larger, hipster city. The staff is wonderful and truly appreciates their customers. The bakery items are not to be missed. There are daily specials so there is always something new to try. Absolutely worth a road trip!

I really enjoy this restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff, spicy and span clean, wonderful fresh food, made from scratch and locally grown ingredients. I really admire the “no tip” policy and the way the owner is giving back to her community. Plus the breads and desserts are just plain decadent!! Highly recommend.

Excellent food, really quite exquisite. Much care has been taken in crafting dishes. Service was solid and knowledgeable, if not particularly attentive to refills. This is a non-tipped restaurant, so subtract 20% from the menu price, making it quite reasonable and competitive – given the high quality ingredients and recipes. I had expectations of a frilly/country vibe with its name, progressive ideas, and menu, but the contemporary, post-modern industrial, open kitchen design was surprising and a little dissonant. The value seems to be on slowing down to enjoy the meal, as food seemed slow to come – despite a small Sunday brunch crowd and large staff. I’m not sure if that impression is due to my warped expectations or just kitchen inefficiency. The restaurant would do well to be explicit in this value if the former. Regardless, the food is worth the anticipation.

Seems like a restaurant in a weird transition phase. I had a snack there during off peek hours when no other customers were present. The service was inattentive but pleasant enough when nearby. While my hot chocolate was amazing but the appetizer I chose was flavorless. I think this place has serious potential. It is also my understanding, you may want to delay in taking too large a group there until they have had a chance to get more experienced staff. The coffeehouse/baked goods asspect of the restaurant are PHENOMENAL. I know I will be back and often. How else will we get those servers up to snuff if they cannot practice.

The food is AMAZING. The service REALLY REALLY needs to improve. If you are not on a time crunch, you will not be disappointed with your choice to eat here. But they need to figure out the service thing if they are going to survive….and I really hope they do because it is the best tasting, freshest food in the county!

Ate there last night, had the Ravioli, which was simply amazing, and I am a bit of a foodie snob/coniseour, especially when it comes to Italian food, being accustomed to top notch Italian food. The quality of the food was outstanding. Portion sizes were good, enough to fill me, and prices, especially considering the quality of the food, was excellent. This was the best meal I have had in the States in a long time. I hope the citizens of Wauseon, and surrounding areas & interstate travelers realize what a gem they have here in this town. Definitely worth exiting the Turnpike and head south for three miles. It will be more than worth you time and drive. It was so good, I had to go back this morning to try their breakfast. Had the pulled pork hash based on the servers recommendation. I was a little hesitant at first, but hey, last nights meal was outstanding, I decided to risk it, and was greatly awarded for that risk! O.M.G. it was amazing, and the coffee, well, they have their own special blend, and use a French press to make it. I am surprised I have any tastebuds left after these two meals, because they were exploding, and are still doing the happy dance! Dazzle your taste-buds, they will thank you! Everything they prepare is top notch. You won’t be disappointed. If his restaurant was in any major city, you’d have a hell of a time making a reservation and getting in there. If you are bored with food, this place will put a huge smile on your face. The presentation of the food, the smell, the taste. It’s a grand slam. This ain’t your mothers Denny’s! I can’t wait until I get back through this town.!

food was innovative, service was horredous, hence the 2 stars, each star for the food. Took well over an hour to get our food and that was after prompting. Order was not correct and while the owner is pleasant,I have heard the excuse of everything is fresh and homemade several times as an excuse for the poor service. We brought out of state guest as we have been there before but we will not return after the horrible service and time factor. We were not in a rush but we did expect our food in a timely manner . 2 1/2 hours to get your food and and eat is not acceptable.Had to ask for the silverware. Coffee and tea were exceptional but lemonade sweetened with honey was way too sweet and should be noted on the menu that honey is used. They have been in business long enough to improve on the service. Please train your servers. We feel we were lost and overlooked in that small crowd and will not be back.Next time you make this many errors and forget the customer , at least offer them some sort of renumeration or cookie or something. The service was that bad.I would hate to see you go out of business because of the service.
