Union Taproom, directly connected to 313 with adjacent rooms, has a clean, relaxed atmosphere and a cute vibe. Plenty of space to sit, talk, and enjoy your drinks. Full bar and great beer selection, not limited to one style. The standout was the service. Blake showed real hospitality and made the night with easy, enjoyable conversation. Attentive, personable, and professional. Great spot for a chill night with solid drinks and top tier service!

Really wanted to rate it higher. I’ve read some reviews mentioning poor service, the person helping us today was great. My service experience was completely fine. The building was also fantastic. The place was really nice, well decorated, felt like a good place to hang out. And I really wanted to rate the whole thing higher.
The food isn’t too great. The fries were good, I actually really enjoyed those. My burger on the other hand missed the mark a bit. It was cooked thoroughly and pretty dry, although I ordered it medium. It definitely felt like the kitchen manager is primarily concerned with saving the most money possible. That’s fine if the price matches. But 15.99 for what tasted like a Costco frozen patty grilled to death was definitely steep to me. If you need I can come show you how to do burgers they’re really easy to make special. It won’t even cost much more.

Was so looking excited to this place. We went there to eat dinner before a show at the amphitheater and walked in, there were about three tables that were empty, we just went straight to the bar.
We ordered a couple old-fashioned whiskeys from the bar and they were gonna go next-door to get them, 35 minutes later, let me repeat that… THIRTY FIVE MINUTES later, we got a drink. The bartenders never even offered us a drink while we’re waiting or anything to help out with the situation. Then, one hour and five minutes later our food arrive. Nothing hard, three tacos and fish and chips. One hour and five minutes. The food was nothing to write home about, but was OK.
It really wasn’t that busy, not sure the waiting staff was trained to handle a full place. Either way management needs to pull their head out and train people or figure out what the problem is. Waiting 35 minutes, sitting at a bar, for a drink is totally uncalled for. Won’t be going there or recommended this place to anybody.

The only positive thing about this place is the quick escape from the judgmental female waitress and the extremely slow bartender (the guy with the mullet and glasses) we arrived and were sat. 45 minutes later our app arrived. Two minutes later our food arrived. My burger extremely burned dry and inedible, oh and my second beer I ordered? My fiance had to go to remind them that I ordered it.
Worst service in ALL of Idaho. If I could rate zero stars I would.

The staff was welcoming and professional. The building is incredible. What a great place. We will return often. They have nightly specials that make going out more often affordable. My $5 burger was delicious, and the fries were perfect.

Unfortunately the food is usually pretty good. The service is always the wild card.tonight sat down 5 minutes to get water and menu stood in whiskey 10 mins to order drink. Went back to table waited total of 30 minutes no one asked for dinner order so we went next door for dinner. Will not be back

this used to be my favorite place to get burgers on monday for $5, they were so good. if you look at amergy’s photo you can tell the quality went down by a lot. i told my friends about this place and how good they were and now the monday specials don’t feel so special anymore. hopefully they can bring these puppies back because my goodness these are soooo good i crave them every monday.

Best stop yet on our road trip. Authentic historic YellowstoneHotel which now houses 4 different restaurant experiences. We went to the Union taproom. Great food and atmosphere. Our server was excellent and full of history on the building etc. even took us on a tour of the building. Loved the whiskey room which didn’t open till later but 150 different whiskeys. How can you not come back. We will make this our biyearly stop for sure. A great find. Thankyou Kirsten.

They are really nice! My mom and my abuelos came here. Me and my mom and I found out that 313 was the original reception desk for the hotel plus some other things! The Elote bites ate 10/10, not to mention a kick of spice! The Cauliflower wings with Buffalo sauce are delicious and spicy! After we had our appetizers we had chicken burger (5/5), fish burger (5/5), and a cheese sandwich (5/5). The fries we SOO DELICIOUS!!!! The atmosphere is so chic and tranquil! You can bring your kids but soon as it gets 10pm no one under 21 can come.

The Union Taproom is on the side of Yellowstone facing the Union Pacific Railroad company. We walked in on the other side but the hostess from Yellowstone guided us in the right direction. Once seated Hannah took care of us. She was very pleasant and gave us great recommendations. We are from out of town but will plan to stop by again the next time we’re in Pocatello.
