Welcome to The Uncommon – Chandler’s favorite late-night bar, where nothing about your night has to be ordinary. We are +21 of age at 8 pm every night Fridays flip between live bands and themed DJ nights, so you never know what kind of wild you’re walking into. Saturdays are a full-blown Dance Party with DJs that keep the floor moving until last call. Add to that 18+ beers on tap, a crafty cocktail lineup, daily happy hour, a late-night kitchen, and games like pool and darts – and you’ve got a bar that doesn’t quit. Whether you’re local, industry, or just here for the party, The Uncommon is where your night actually starts.

Im not generally a complainer but when “every” aspect of the experience was very poor and you pay $120 for 3 people for lunch, I felt compelled to voice my opinion. The service was below average, the drinks were horrible. We ordered 2 Strawberry Margaritas and they tasted like pure syrup. We then ordered burgers, (supposedly Wagu) well they were definitely not Wagu caliber..they were absolutely horrible. Like I said, the entire experience was just horrible. No one ate their food..drinks were left unfinished and we were prompted to leave a 20% tip. Do not waste your hard earned money going to this restaurant. It was definitely an “Uncommon” experience.

I came here with friends on NYE and we had an awesome time. The bartenders were great and the music was perfect for partying. The drinks were pretty good, standard options for a party-centric holiday. Loved the vibes of the indoor and outdoor areas too.

The Uncommon is a hidden gem in downtown Chandler that absolutely nails the balance between great food, fun vibes, and excellent service. Their pub-style menu offers generous portion sizes, and everything we tried was delicious. The drinks were also top-notch—creative and perfectly mixed.
What sets this place apart is the ambiance. With its 80’s and 90’s decor, pinball and arcade games, and plenty of TV screens to catch a game, it’s the perfect spot for a night out or a casual hangout. The outside seating is a bonus for enjoying Arizona’s weather, though parking can be hit or miss depending on the time you go.
The service was stellar. Our waitress was on top of everything, and I appreciated how other staff members checked in randomly throughout our meal. It showed they genuinely care about the guest experience.
Overall, The Uncommon is a must-visit. Whether you’re looking for great food, drinks, or a nostalgic atmosphere with fun games, this spot has it all. Can’t wait to go back!

I dont like leaving negative reviews but I have to in this case – I’ve been to this place on 3 occasions and found the service really lacking ; the third trip was on NYE during the day and I sat for over 30 minutes being ignored by the staff entirely before getting up and walking out..,there was only one other table with people at it and the waitress payed plenty of attention to them but completely ignored me. Im disappointed because I liked the food there ( previous 2 visits ) but im not likely to go back after that treatment.

I’ve been going here for years. I have watched them switch out so many new staff, including management, and every switch out becomes worse and worse. Their food has gone down over the years too. Especially since they recently changed their menu. The music here absolutely sucks since Shay has left as the manager. Overall, it is becoming harder and harder to enjoy coming here. I love coming here, and a regular. I hope you guys turn it around, and fast.

I took my Grandson here to play some arcade games and have lunch.

He had potato curls.

I had been looking forward to coming here since it opened. The menu has something for everyone and everything we got was delicious. We went in for dinner on Friday. A few minutes after we sat down, the band began to play and it was way too loud. We were about to move to another table but still too loud. You should be able to get lace an order and her the waitress when doing so. Yes the band was good, but just too loud and too early.

We went here for the first time on July 4th. Nice atmosphere, they have pool tables arcade. Games, and a photo booth!! We loved our bartender Richard “Dick’!! He had a great personality. Such a great asset to the business. We definitely will be returning.

Very popular atmosphere, a lot of retro vibes and throw back. Solid drink list, whiskey was a bit overly priced but the food was great. Satisfactory cocktails and the Ruben sandwich is pretty epic. A lot of pinball and other arcade games. I was most impressed with the table top hockey since this is a rarity these days. I would return again

I don’t know if it was a bad night but the bar was very hot, service was unbelievably slow and disorganized, and the food was not good. The server said it was his first week which is fine but it took over 20 minutes to get a beer while my wife’s mixed drink was out in less than half that time. Food was served with missing items and no cutlery, while the music was so loud that I couldn’t hear across the table. The k pop chicken sandwich was bitter and salty and I couldn’t eat more than two bites. Overall this was pretty bad.
