We were in the area for some business, asked around “where was the best place to eat” and were told the “Ugly Roster” . The place definitely checked all the boxes, good food, friendly service and a cool name is always a plus. Very enjoyable spot !

First time there and the waitress, Barbara, was very welcoming, personable, and provided excellent service! She is a credit to this restaurant. The food was outstanding! The only improvement I’d suggest is upgrading the comfort of the ladies room. A coat hook, table to put down a purse or bag while washing hands, Kleenex, and a candle or flowers would go a long way. Looking forward to visiting the Malta location. Thanks to Barbara and the team for providing a great breakfast!

Literally love this place and everyone who works here. My best friend and I have our mom dates every other Saturday. We have met some great people here and my friend know like everyone who works here. Everyone is so happy. The food is AMAZING! You cant go wrong with anything you get here. But I highly recommend “The Famers Daughter’ sandwich with waffle fries. You won’t ve disappointed. The burrito, quesadilla, the brushetta, the farmers Daughter, fried chicken sandwich… really everything is amazing!

Based on reviews, I drove several miles out of my way to visit the Ugly Rooster Cafe. I was not disappointed… lots of variety on the menu, great food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Take the detour and stop in 🙂

The food was ok – lacks salt and pepper for our liking but the decor was super cute. Loved all the roosters around the place including the ones on the servers t-shirts. I wouldn’t come back for the food. The prices are way to high for the quality of meal ordered.
When we had to pay our bill we had to walk through their gift shop. Which to us was the BEST part of the visit. Also, our server, she was super nice – so overall a cool place!

The best diner I have ever been to! Excellent service and food! They were PACKED out the door on a Sunday morning and told us a 15 minute wait and we were called back just 5 minutes later to our table. Our food also came out quickly. Highly recommend!!!

It’s big, it’s busy and it’s good cooking. Has that classic diner vibe all over it. Family owned and operated.
My first time there and I got the Harvest Cakes. Expected the sausage on the side, was surprised that it was cooked into the pancake. Was good regardless. Reminded me of a sausage corn dog but way better.
My Dad got the Eggs Benedict. He said it was good, I didn’t get to try any ☹️. The home fries that came with it were my favorite thing of all.
My Mom got the strawberry waffle. Pretty good
Prices are good too. Only questionable thing is the parking. Don’t worry, it’s fun

The food is amazing. The service is OFF the Chart.
My only suggestions: I know you want to be different, but I would suggest a few days of Normal Soups (Chicken Noodle Etc.) and stay open until 3PM.
Lastly, do NOT use Manwich meat in your Tacos. Use Ground Beef.

I met someone nearby for an errand and decided to try this restaurant. I gave my order when the server usually asks for your drink order. My food came after some time, and I only saw the server again when she put my bill on the table. I ordered two eggs over easy, rye toast, and asked for fried onions in my home fries. The eggs were over medium and browned, I got marbled rye/pumpernickel, and I had an excess of fried onions covering the charred home fries. I was never approached to ask how my food was nor offered a refill of my only cup of coffee. I brought my check to the register at the end of the establishment, inside their store. When asked how my meal was, I told the cashier. She immediately told me to hold on while she got the manager. She gave me an employee discount. I explained I wasn’t looking for a discount. This store has a sister store in Malta that I enjoy going to.
